Firstly, what a crap ending to an awesome series.
Just something to think about, if RJ was really this great mind, he knew there were pigeons at the Partridge murder scene and therefore should have predicted Jane would latch onto his fear of pigeons especially after Jane noticed it again episode 2.
For such a "powerful" mind he really seemed unprepared.
I think there was a subliminal message left in the fake episode by Heller. In the church, Patrick says "Whatever you think, the opposite is true".
I'm hoping this is the case at least :)
Why doesn't Patrick just hire Sherlock. Boom! Red John won't only be caught but humiliated at the same time :)
