Who is Red John?

Theories of Tearas (7)

In "How I met your mother" you can see Ted's wife in season 5 episode 1.

So, they had casted her and knew who she was from season 5 (we are at season 10 atm), and Bruno Heller decided on RJ "a couple years ago"?

Nice. Epic job man. Thanks for all the disappointment and the waste of time. Maybe you should have asked the HIMYM writters for some tips. Jerk

What if it ended like this: McAllister confronts Patrick in the church and under gun point he explains most things/clues because he likes to brags about it. So instead of 20 minutes running we could get 20 minutes of talking/mind games between PJ and RJ and get our clossure on some points (if there could be one). RJ finishes his speech by saying "You should have accepted that I am smarter than you" and PJ replies with "Can I show you one last thing?" and by that he throws in the air 2 handfulls of bread crums (no pigeon in his pocket) and a flock of pigeons living in the church rushes to them, RJ gets off balance and PJ gets on top of him and strangles him.

So, no one sees that McAllister fires the bomb, because Patrick would remember that, but someone screamed "No, please don't". That doesnt add up, and it irks me because that was 2 episodes ago when they had already decided on who RJ is, but still left parts that made no sense...

First of all let me say that I am not a Partridge fanboy. I always prefered the calm but overwhelming presence of Thomas or the "act" of "regular" Ray.

But after reading some theories about Partridge was shown to us dead a second time and all the fuzz about Cho just checking the tattoo, I couldn't help but think that maybe Cho didn't chech the face because he knows that this guy isn't Partridge and he is an associate of his.

That is based on the fact that I'm guessing someone from the team will have connections to RJ. Thoughts?

Greeting everyone!

As much as I am addicted to this forum and as much as I like to play guessing/sorting out facts games I think that the show is written in such a manor that everyone of the 7 could be RJ.

There is nothing to figure out, because it can be anyone from the 7 or someone who is not on the list.

I mean that if we exclude Reede, who everyone seems to hate as being RJ, there are clues that can point to anyone and that was the creators intention. My personal opinion is that once RJ is revealled, there will be some past clues/hints that don't match. Think about it. If you don't take your personal favorite in consideration, how much of a surprise will it be if RJ is someone else other than your original guess.

I think they wrote the script so that everyone matches a good percent of RJ's profile and I am pretty sure that BH reads this forum and picked his favorite theory.

Personally I think that no-one can outsmart the fans, or write a script to the perfection. I will be glad if I am wrong.

P.S I love this show and am hooked as anyone on RJ conclusion. I'm just saying...

The fact that Partridge appears on IMDB's list of credited cast, if accurate, can also mean that he participates in flashback scenes. My point is that he doesnt have to be RJ if he is in the episode

Apart from the "Tyger, Tyger" theme, taking a closer look to the actual poem RJ recited, I couldnt overlook the ending. "...thy fearful symmetry?" So my guess is Mike Kirkland, Bob's twin brother because what more symmetrical than a twin?
