THE THEORIES

All that most of us would like was an eighth season with 13 episodes for the EXPLAIN all the Red John's plot (with a true conclusion). I think the lack of an explanation and a forced conclusion leaves us as we are, yet without believing that the writers did it very badly.

I have been saying since the episode blinking red light that when jane was on tv with another (mentalist) and jane looked at red light something changed within him. He mentions to other mentalist that since he called out red john that rj will kill again. What happens.... Other mentalist dies. Now weeks later myself and others posted on here that pj is rj. Bruno heller than came out with an interview saying that patrick jane is not red john
Heller: I would say that definitively: Jane is not Red John.
Me thinking: Red John is Jane.
There never was a Jane. It has been Red John the whole time.
After a people commented about on boards about rj is pj I think heller got mad and changed the show.
Now fast forward to the finale.
Jane is now in a studio again.
Again he see the red light and this time says to the host something like give me a second or hold on (not remembering exactly. ) to me that is bruno telling us rj= pj. Also i have always thought that rj smile is janes face and at very end jane gives us the biggest smile that he could have. Like i have said and no one will ever change my mind, there never was a PJ it has always been Red John being in character as patrick jane.

I loved this show until McAllister was Red John.  Think how cool, calculated and fearless Red John was being portrayed as with unlimited resources, influence, etc. Jane's true equal in every way, someone high up in the "company" with real power, thats the red john i wanted Jane to overcome, instead we got McAllister, someone who was none of that even to the point where he ran from Jane and was snivelling like a coward to spare him. The end of the show wouldn't have been a total disappointment but the Red John reveal ruined the show and it became obvious that seasons 6 and 7 were there to tie up the lose ends.

Real Shame - could have been one of the best shows ever.

It was not the final ending I had hoped for or not the ending I wanted.  They should have ended with at least 3 different alternative endings like the movie CLUE.  I also will not watch any more TV shows that are created/written by Bruno Heller.  Rest in peace-the cast of The Mentalist.

So, it's over.
Unlike many of you, I actually enjoyed the show unill the very end. I won't accuse BH of anything. I don't think anyone CAN accuse whoever. You didn't come up with the show, you all came up with, I won't deny it, brilliant theories, but that's all, theories, about the main antagonist, nothing more. I didn't get why all the blind hatered was needed, if you don't like something, just fuck it. But whatever, I won't deny that I liked the end, though it was kinda cringy, but it was enjoyable finaly seeing PJ happy, trully happy after all he has been through. One of the other things I liked was how many of you, pronounced yourselves "official haters" of the show, after 608, and despite all the hateful comments you kept watching... and no, it wasn't because there was a chance for RJ, you very well knew RJ was done. And although you may say you fking hated everything after "that pernicious 8th episode", I know a small part of you smiled while watching the last episode.
I should end with thanking all of you guys, for being a part of this, it was really amusing reading all those amazing theories, many of which would have fitted a lot better than what happened, but it was not for us to decide the fate of RJ.
Thank you.
