THE THEORIES

If you re-watch closely the 6x08 "Red John", you'll notice something quite unnerving... Something much worse than RJ being McAllister...

Don't get it?

It's that, basically, you can replace McAllister by ANYONE ELSE with the same scenes and dialogues... IT WILL WORK THE SAME.

Neither McAllister, Jane, or anyone else refers something specific to McAllister... It's just... random!!! It could have been whatever suspect you'd like, the pizza guy... the scenes would have worked the same!!

I really wonder if this episode was written without any suspect in mind, just with "insert random RJ guy" for McAllister scenes, and then 3 minutes before shooting the episode, some guy came and say "oh hey it'll be McAllister I've just called Xander Berkeley he can come and do the episode right now!!".

RJ from 6x08 was just a fraud. The only RJ who can be acknowledged was the RJ from 3x24. The guy had it all...

Ohhh Stoopkid........Where are you?? You dumb fuck! I told you to meet me here after the finale.

Do you idiots finally accept Red John was the Sheriff?

The "Michael Kirkland" theory was beyond the dumbest I heard from you idiots!

Who is Red John?

Sheriff MacAllister.

FACT!

Now fuck off, losers!

For every one of you pieces of shit who hated the show, after RJ, there were tens of thousands who loved it.

11700 plus theories?? pathetic!

Hope you're fucking dead, Stoopkid, you faggot!

Awesome series, the entire way through.

...Now for a Jane prediction...  This theory will soon disappear due to too many "Implausible" votes...

Even though I feared it was probably going to end something like this, there was still part of me hoping we would hear that creepy music for one last time. Back in the time when I was hooked on this show, I was never really thinking how it will end, but I never, not once, imagined it would end up with a wedding. I mean, relationship between them is so unnatural and disgusting, I almost threw up. For me, they were always partners in solving crime and nothing more!

And what about Red John? We didn't get anything, not even a mention of him. I can't believe they never really tried to explain how he knew 7 names even before Patrick himself!!! That was a breaking point of the show if you ask me and not showing us how he could of know that is a biggest slap I've got from the TV show so far.
The problem was not in who Red John was, but the way how the episode (the most important episode!) was dealt with - very poor dialogues, no elaboration of Red John bio, wasted time running around, etc. And it was really stupid idea to kill RJ in same episode he was revealed! When you build someone through each season, someone so elusive and careful, who was always outsmarting Patrick and CBI, and at reveal, you portray him as someone who's not even equal to Rigsby...i don't even know what to say to that. The Red John storyline was one of the rare gems on TV, it had potential, great protagonist and very interesting antagonist, and I'm really saddened to see how it easily got ruined.

I've never seen any other TV show, or anything similar that people talked so much about and resulted with so many theories. This show wouldn't be as good without you. All your ideas and clues - thank you for all, I enjoyed reading them and participating in discussions. It was fun when it was cool! I would also just like to say that my favorite suspect was Ellis Mars.

The mind is a powerful machine, it can create reality.

Good thing is now we shouldn't have any more RJ-isn't-dead theories from Stoopkid

Well, so that was just garbage. I'm sure I wasn't alone in throwing up in my mouth for pretty much the entire second hour.

I didn't come on this site before watching the finale - didn't want to get spoiled if RJ really did come back...ha. But now that I see that picture someone posted, of the wedding invitation with "Lazarus" RSVP'ing, it's obvious Bruno was just jacking us around. He made it seem like this was a big deal, and guess what? Lazarus had absolutely nothing to do with anything.

Every single horrible thing we feared (yeah I'm talking about the "3" clue) pretty much materialized. Was yelling at the TV "just shoot me" but still held out to the very end with a glimmer of hope...of seeing a red smiley. Nope. It's like when the rough cut of 6x8 was leaked, and we were like, nah it can't be this bad. Then as we're watching the live episode, we keep waiting for the twist, and only at the end do we realize the leaked episode was real, and yes, it really was that bad.

Today's finale was like reliving that all over again. I can't even deal with this right now. I think back to what that writer Tom said about the finale: "everything you ever hoped for." I barfed again.

Good acting all around though. Such a shame they didn't have good showrunners.

Why Partridge's last words were "Tyger, tyger" instead of just saying sheriff's name? Before he died he switched McAllister's DNA records to a random body and he should've known then that McAllister is probably RJ, and not to mention he probably did see who killed him. I don't know, I got the impression, when he was saying his last words, that he wanted to help and I think he could have done more if he just said ''sheriff".

It's also puzzling why Teresa was left alive. If Red John was in that room as well, he MUST have overheard Partridge's last words to Teresa, so why he didn't kill her then? I mean, those words, or actually anything that Partridge might have told Teresa, were a risk for RJ, so why he didn't kill her?

Only thing that can make sense to me is that Partridge, if he were RJ, eliminated himself by faking his death and let Teresa live to pass those words to PJ so they could destroy the organization.

Also, Kira Tinsley must have had x-ray vision.
