THE THEORIES

Spoilers from yesterday's episode....

Something is fishy here.  Clearly Haibach isn't the guy.  Why would he kidnap VanPelt?  (Other than the lazy answer that the actress is leaving the show and thusly the character needs an exit strategy.)  If he has an endgame that isn't simple murder...wouldn't it be Jane or Lisbon?  He must be fronting for someone else.  The guy from Rigsby/VanPelt apartment doesn't seem to be the same guy from the motel - which supports that the actual doers of the crimes aren't the masterminds.  (Loved the red in the motel name.  Just fantastic.)

Also...what's with Jane's icy reception of Van Pelt and Rigsby?  Cho - not the demonstrable one - gives them hugs.  Jane was just kind of "whats up"?

This episode got my blood pumping and it is tempting me to start theorizing again.  Will try to keep my expectations in check.

SPOILERS DOWN BELOW!!

Just watched the latest episode 'Green Thumb' and I got agitated that Cho (to me) didn't get enough air time! NOOO I LOVE THAT DUDE! On another note the episode was actually pretty good, like Jane manipulating the FBI, funny as! Loving Lisbon, Jane and Cho, yet to feel a liking towards Abbott and Fishsticks. The new dude they're introducing 'Coyote' seems so timid (like Harold from Suits, if anyone watches that) haha, I'm betting he's going to be like the new Grace with all the computer shiz. Still hoping that the Red John thing will be explained via a flashback episode.

Can't wait for next week's ep.

PS I miss you 'Red John' (I actually hope there's a twist and that McAllister is not Red John.. but yeah only wishful thinking.)

Okay, guys, I've thought about it, and it's okay.

I mean it wasn't the best episode ever but it was an episode, and I'll admit I like McAllister better than some of the other suspects.

I know it's disappointing to us but imagine how Bruno must be feeling. He might've put a lot of effort into it and we've been bashing it since it was first leaked. I'll admit it wasn't that great but it could've been worse I guess.

Read this:

It was important to "give a real emotional, pleasing end to that story," creator-showrunner Bruno Heller told reporters, admitting that the ultimate Red John identity slowly "emerged" over the last few seasons. "For me it was about giving Patrick Jane exactly what he's wanted for all these years. He wanted revenge and he got it. I think that's what the audience wanted, so that's what we gave them.""I did feel a sense of pressure, because we've been working toward this for so many years and it was something that had pushed the character from the very beginning [since] 2008. Somehow I had to live up to that in that one moment -- the one moment in the life of the character where he's stepping out into the unknown," Baker acknowledged. "The way we did it was important, because I felt like to pull the trigger is just pulling a trigger, but to actually wrestle with someone is far more kismet."

Now, whatever the reason is as to why that episode wasn't as strong as the previous ones isn't really important. Let's just try to enjoy the rest of the season and cross our fingers that Red John reemerges.

But two things I am absolutely against are McAllister being a fake Red John, because lets face it, it was barely credible with Timothy Carter, and also Red John being as powerful as he was thanks to the fucking Blake Association. I'm sorry it just doesn't fit with the rest of Red John's character who constantly wants to be notcied and admired and the way his followers were so dedicated, I don't think it would be for reasons as simple as an association of corrupt cops, which I hope we won't hear from again because they've already taken up enough screen time, they're too closely associated with Red John and also every member that we've met until now is kind of pathetic and not at all entertaining to watch.

ONCE AGAIN WE
ARE NOT GOING TO KILL BRUNO HELLER AND HIS FAMILY, WE ARE NOT GOING TO TRY AND STOP THE SHOW FROM BEING WATCHED BY OTHER PEOPLE. WE ARE GOING TO GET OVER IT, AND HOPE IT GETS BOTHER, BECAUSE ITS JUST A T.V. SHOW.

Will we get more information about Red John?

Heller: We won’t be going back.  …  Once the curtain is drawn back from these evil Wizard of Oz
characters they tend not to be very interesting dinner companions. They
tend to be ego-maniacal one-track minds … There is a great deal of
[backstory], if anyone waned to ask those questions, I’d be happy to
answer. There’s a lot of questions about motivations and what [Red John]
was doing and when and how… It makes for great Internet fodder, but
it’s not very entertaining for a weekly TV audience.

Ok guys, this is it. No explanations at all. Thank you Bruno Failer for nothing!

I haven't seen Sunday's episode but I've seen the leaked episode.

Is the Leaked episode the exact same as Sunday's? If not, explain what is different

The episode on French iTunes is a fake. It hasn't even aired in US, they wouldn't release it on iTunes before its main audience has seen the episode.
