I know this is going to sound mental because he died years ago. But do you guys think Bosco could have faked his death somehow? :P
I listened to his voice all day yesterday and he literally HAS Red John's voice. Not just similar but 100% the same.
I know it's crazy, I even made fun of people who thought it was him before..I apologize to them now.
Reasons it could be him:
-He loved Theresa so wouldn't hurt her
-He told PJ when he was dying that he will come back to haunt him (it could be like a sick joke)
-Surprise element because I'm quite sad that they let us see the sheriff in the promo, I can't believe they would do that..I will be furious if he is RJ and we found out from the promo a week before the Red John episode.
-Voice matches a 100%
-His secretary Rebecca seemed to love him, maybe they worked together.
-Lisbon had feelings for him in the past so he must have a side that makes him attractive to women.
Reasons it can't be him:
-The doctors at the hospital probably wouldn't lie about his condition, he was dying
-Rebecca went to visit him with a gun so it really looked like she wanted to shoot him
-He has no hair and he is not thin
Anyway, it is probably not him and he is really dead. But at this point I would accept anyone else but the sheriff. They've really ruined it for me with the promo..:(
It's simple. Sheriff and Haffner. One of them will definitely die tomorrow. Whoever doesn't is Red John.:)
I really like the "mental" theories on this website..I honestly have no idea how people can come up with some stuff in such detail and how enthusiastic they are..
My head is so full of the 7 suspects that it's quite refreshing to sometimes read theories where someone accuses Luther Wainwright ("the little boy" -dead) or Ellis Mars or Dr Steiner (dead)..:D

This is a crazy theory and I never ever accused Kirkland before, but I don't understand something about him.
If he is willing to torture and kill people just for information about Red John, why did he not ask the guy in hospital about him? That guy was awake and alert, he wasn't in a coma, or anything..He could have threatened him easily.
I've never been a fan of this Kirkland twin option, but now I think that twin in the hospital could have been Michael.
Kirkland is the only suspect for me who wouldn't even bat an eyelid while killing a child. He is creepy and emotionless. With the others, I can't imagine it that easily..
What if Michael wanted to kill the tygers and planted the bomb because they killed Bob?

I woke up this morning and suddenly I was a 100% sure that Red John will not be one of the three with the tattoos. I just know it. Just think about it. If it's one of the 3, we will all be yawning. There's no excitement, no shock factor. Is this really the big reveal? For 6 seasons we've been waiting and it will really just be as boring as this? No.
Red John has to be one of the "dead" ones (Kirkland or Partridge), or Stiles or Haffner.
Stiles has the shock factor because he has been friendly with PJ and helping him, so it would be a bit of a surprise that all this time he was the one that killed his family.
With Haffner, even though he was popular as a suspect a few weeks ago, people have given up on him slightly. He seems to be superficial, cares about money, PJ doesn't think highly of him. So he would be more surprising too than the 3 with the tattoos.
It feels like the writers are putting it in our head that RJ must be one of the three. But if he is, we're going to fall asleep during the Red John episode. I'm putting my trust into the writers and hoping they are not gonna be that predictable.
Finally, they are cleaning up at IMDB!:D They are slowly removing all the weirdos from the list!:P
