The promo for ep 8 sounds like Kirkland, he matches the physical description by rosalind, under 6 ft, straight hair not muscular or thin

Red John tried to play Jane the whole time, I believe that Lisbon is bugged and Jane realised, possibly it's her badge or maybe he got mash burn to find out by sleeping with her. Anyway this is the chain of events that I believe.

Red John told loralei to tell Jane they had shaken hands "by accident". Jane called his bluff but told Lisbon he believed it was true as she was bugged, so red John would believe that Patrick believed it if you follow me.

Once Kirkland had shaken hands with Jane, red john knew that in some way Jane would contact loralei and in some way she would fake anger and blurt out what rj wanted her to say.

But here is the thing, I don't believe rj is bob Kirkland I believe it's Michael. Michael, if he is red John would have the knowledge to know where is brother is going and know that Jane would meet his brother and shake hands with him, what a perfect chance to play the greatest game on Jane.

Then Michael went to loralei in jail, told her to tell jane about the handshake. Jane calls the bluff, but does exactly what red John hopes he will do and tells Lisbon he has remembered every single name of people he has shaken hands with,, red John hears the names through lisbons bug and low and behold bob Kirkland is there, rj thinks his plan has worked.

So before he kills loralei he makes the tape of her saying the suspects, what he doesn't know is that Jane has picked 6 others that he has deducted are close to rj or Jane is already aware of tiger tiger and knows he must dismantle it to really rid the world of rj. Rj in order to fool Jane sent a tiger tiger member' obviously wearing a bloody tank top! Lol. to kill the PI but not fully, so she will tell Jane he has three dots and Jane will start a wild goose chase of the remaining list members with tatoos. But instead, now Jane knows how to bring down rjs whole network, they can all be identified, Jane has won because rj has now lost his power and will reveal himself to kill Jane

Something I missed, he has his brother killed but before, when he is torturing Jane and says he has a twin that's when I think Jane connects the dots as to who it is. Frame thy perfect symetry I think Is red John starting of his game with Jane, the symmetry of twins. But anyway he kills Kirkland in order to make his reveal all the more awesome when he try's to kill Jane.

So now the FBI are in, rjs network is being dismantled, Jane says to Lisbon he hasn't given up but there's nothing more he can do at the end of ep 7, rj hears this and that his is cue, he has won because Jane can't do anything more. Jane however knew that rj would now reveal himself so goes somewhere quiet where he can be approached (the church). Enter Michael Kirkland. Yes I know he wasn't on the list but really he was because if Jane shook hands with his brother or maybe it was Michael and deducted that by Michael or his brothers location that he could have committed the rj murders Jane may have been mistaken but it would be the same face he was after and that's really what he was going on.
