Red John is Brett Partridge: he isn't dead. When Cho watch the body, he observes the left shoulder but the head is hidden, It is the body of someone else.

It should be obvious now that RJ was never on the list of suspects.  Reede Smith confessed to other crimes and is off to prison.  It's not Bertram because the media has accepted his as RJ so Jane would not become a wanted man in South America for killing him.  Everyone else is DEAD.  There are no fake deaths.  RJ faked his death in the S3 finale and is not going to do it again.  RJ set that bomb that killed people and unless he's insane, than he was nowhere near that building when it blew up.  He was not in that room.  There are no suspects left on the list, it is time for everyone to start writing up their theories on the names we saw in Jane's notebook.  Those names were Jane's real suspects.  The list everyone has wasted time theorizing about was RJ's list of suspected tiger tiger members given to Jane to expose the tiger tiger group.

Recall RJ's message to Jane:  "I know that you've made a list, and I know that by the time you watch this video, you'll have narrowed that list down to a few names. That's quite a feat of memory and research. Bravo. I bet you think you're pretty damn clever, but you're not. You got a lucky break. That's not clever. I'll show you clever."  If RJ doesn't think Jane's ability to make that list is clever, then no way will he think that stealing Jane's list is much more clever.  What would be clever?  Sending Jane a list of seemingly random names that will lead Jane straight to the biggest secret law enforcement club.  Jane has played RJ's game by Red John's Rules, he investigated RJ's names with Lisbon as if he was looking for RJ.  The game is over and the question is did Jane catch RJ or did RJ catch Jane?

The Mentalist never catches killers through a series of elimination and that is not how RJ will be caught either.  There is going to be a big twist next week and part of that twist will be that RJ was never on the list.  The real suspects were
Brett Partridge, Vint Molinari, Dean Harken, Ellis Mars,Jason Cooper, Linus Wagner, Walter Mashburn, Towlen Morning, Virgil Minelli, Oscar Ardiles from Jane's notebook.  Some are obviously not RJ.  Narrow it down to the most likely suspects and you get Jason Cooper, Walter Mashburn, Virgil Minelli, and Oscar Ardiles.  One of those four men will be revealed as RJ in the next episode.  I strongly suggest that everyone abandons the seven suspect list before next Sunday because you've run out of time to make viable theories.

Why did they zoom in on Patrick's pants pocket after he sat down in the church pew?

Frankly when I came to this realization I had the chills.

If you caught the promo, we saw Red John, cooly walking down the church aisle, looked like a either bald or thiinley haired, middle aged, averagely built man. Taller than Stiles, shorter than Bertrum.

I will not waste your time. Give me 30  seconds and I guarantee you, I will prove my case:

What name did Bertrum use to check into the storage unit? Thomas

What was in the storage unit? Red Wine. Where is Thomas McAllister from? Napa Valley (Wine Capital)

These clues were given in that small scene, but from these clues, everything just clicked.
Heres How:

When Bertrum was going to reveal his shoulder, he looked to McAllister, as if waiting for approval. Smith looked to Bertrum, his Blake Association "Boss", because he admitted to being in the dark about Red John.

When Patrick saw his shoulder, the red john soundtrack played, and Patrick came to an almost surreal realization. It looked as if he wanted to shoot McAllister right there, if Stiles had not urged him to look at the other two.

The concluder:

Heller has put in many themes to this show, but Red, Birds, Blood, and Wine, are his overlying themes in episode naming, and motifs. McAllister planted the encoded "list of names" knowing it would reach Patrick. It is not a list of names but a letter telling him to meet in the church. Patrick decoded it, lyed to lisbon about knowing what it meant so he could go alone.
HERES THE KICKER:

In the church there is symbolism: The wine of the sacrament of Jesus, and the wings, of BIRDS (The phobia McAllister has), and Patrick realizes it all makes sense.

for some reason i dont think bob kirkland is actually dead and i think he is  still alive and some how managed to fake his death some how maybe swapping the bullets for blanks i don't know,

and i think the thing about his brother being recruited by red john could actually be a personality disorder (but probably nothing as complicated as that)

i am not to sure how but for some reason he seems the best fit out of everybody for me, his voice his age which we have been  told that he is believed  to be over 30 and under 50 and his look,

i have liked him for it since he first appeared please dont hate its just an opinion that im still thinking through and i know i have no evidence for this

Ray Haffner. Has to be. He brought the bomb. He tried to leave. He made sure he was out of harm's way. He's afraid of spiders--arachnophpbic, not acrophobic. Julia misspoke. Which is why they had that weird scene where he freaks when he sees the spider. Bertram works for him. He put Bertram in place to watch Jane. The confirmation of his death was from a Tyger Tyger coroner, the same guy who cut the tattoo out of Brett's shoulder. He's played by a Juilliard grad, so he has the chops, but he's voiced by Simon Baker. They'll explain that.
