LATEST THEORIES

Before I start, can I just say how much I hate Partridge for RJ ?! He would be SO TYPICAL and not at all realistic. Ugh. If you need a detailed explanation of why I believe Partridge is not RJ read my previous post: http://www.whoisredjohn.com/See-a-theory-Red-John/12777

I have been thinking about his dying words - the Tyger Tyger comment (I say his dying words as I do believe he is dead - Lisbon is not that stupid people, and she has worked with dead people her whole career, she didn't just 'think' he was dead ok?). So my question is do you think he, like Kirkland, was onto the Blake Association? Maybe nerdy Partridge who was always fascinated by the RJ cases actually had figured out more than we think he did? Maybe he was trying to tell Lisbon. I mean as much as I hate his character, he does seem reasonably smart, just not RJ-uber-intelligent-manipultive-woman seducer-smart! lol  And definitely seems the type to do 'underground' research outside of the CBI official realm. Especially if he had suspicions that there are moles within the CBI/FBI.

I sense he was trying to alert Lisbon about the BA as opposed to seeing if she was a member (who really cares when you're dying who else is a member!). Maybe we will see Partridge turn out to be 'good' or at least one of the more humane members of the BA trying to end it as a final death wish.  I mean, if he was actually dying, he would KNOW he is dying (he is forescenic person after
all), so would saying Tyger Tyger to Lisbon really 'save' him in anyway
if he knew he was going to die anyway
? Or was he trying to alert Lisbon to the
Blake Association? If so how much did he know and why did RJ kill him?

So I'm wondering what fans think of Partridge either being a.....

a) SECRET SPY OFF THE RADAR i.e. getting killed because he found out about the Blake Association (and possibly dets on RJ if it turns out RJ is related to the BA, which most would presume he is in some manner or another). I like the sounds of this but it's too similar to what happened with Kirkland so my heart is saying there must be more to it... Heller wouldn't repeat same scenario twice.

b) BAD PRISONER him being killed as a way to expose the Blake Association?  This would make sense if he is a member which we have been lead to believe with the burned arm/tattoo. He was killed by RJ (or a follower on orders) bc he was some sort of threat to the organization. Knew too much or wanted to leave? Or RJ wanted to prove to Patrick he would kill ppl on his list of 7? Just ideas, not sure about this one...

OR

c) GOOD PRISONER: He was a member of the Blake Association b/c he needed a cover up once early in his career, but knew how bad the organization was overall for society ... or maybe he didn't know at first, but eventually found he was working for a notorious serial killer and got nauseous about it... so overall knew the whole organization is in terrible moral methodology so he therefore wanted to expose the BA .... especially since he knew he was going to die anyway!

I think "C" makes the most sense given the evidence (specifically what he said to Lisbon and the tattoo presumably - but not for sure- being removed). But I am wondering what others think about why Partridge was killed. Remember RJ only kills men who get in the way....

Hit Green if you think Partridge was trying to alert Lisbon of the Blake Association! Red if you still believe him to be RJ or just a low life member with no good intentions.

If you stop at 15sec and you take a closer look the hair of the subject you can notice that is not completely bald and there is a small line of hair in the middle of the head. You can compare that with Gale Bertram's head and see that it doesn't match, because Bertram exept for the back side of the head is compleately bald.
Sheriff Thomas McAllister instead fits perfectly that fisionomy. According to this you can now add the fact that both McAllister and Red John wear the same jeans and jacket. Plus there is a pidgeon sitting on the statue right after Patrick shot Red John.
McAllister said clearly he hates that things (pidgeons). The usage of that is to let Patrick realize which is Red John's phobia and finally put all pieces together.
The fact that McAllister is Red John fits perfectly. He lays low and living in the Napa county is able to move freely. He is part of Blake Association because is a cop, obviously. He managed to control Blake's members thanks to his ability to manipulate people. McAllister knew what Patrick Jane wanted in the very first moment he received the phone call. He placed the bomb and knew the exact wayout of the area in order not to get hurt.
He said to Patrick he is not Red John because he knew he could play the card of the tattoo and had the bomb as a backup plan. He gained time for the bomb. He licked his lips because he was really nervous. He was the only one not losing the head when Patrick took out the shotgun (he just said "take it easy Patrick", again to gain time for the bomb). Bertram tried to reason with Jane "you've gone to far", Smith tried to pull put the gun, prevously Haffner tried to leave the meeting, Stiles mocked Patrick but McAllister was the only one who stayed calm and waited.
McAllister hunts everything with a face as he said. I believe he hunts animals to keep his need to kill a little under control, then sometimes he just follows the flow and becomes Red John.

Sequence shown in the Sneak Peek->FBI breaks into Patrick Jane's place at CBI and found nothing-> Patrick goes visit the grave of his family -> FBI gets Bertram -> Jane confronts Bertram -> Bertram says he had to meet Red John in the church so they both can escape -> Jane puts the gun in the church's bench -> the FBI is at the graveyard waiting Red John and so are doing the former CBI agents -> McAllister is spotted at the graveyard by the CBI agents who doesn't inform the FBI but Patrick instead -> Patrick runs with the car at the graveyard -> scene with FBI and CBI holding guns each others -> Patrick touches FBI agent who was previously ipnotised -> Patrick reaches the church before Red John -> Red John thinks to meet up with Bertram and finds Patrick instead -> he says he won because he is stronger than Patrick and in that faceoff  Red John clearly wins -> Patrick shots Red John -> Patrick notes the pidgeon is distracted and Red John escapes -> scene in which Patrick runs after Red John in the graveyard -> scene with McAllister breaking the window and Patrick right Patrick runs after McAllister -> McAllister reaches a calm place in the park, is wounded and suffering and couldn't escape anymore -> Patrick reaches him, Red John is laying on the grass, Patrick takes his time and looking Red John straight in the eye, shots him. Then there is the end of the season.

Why did The Blake Association suddenly turn on one of their own:  Agent Reede Smith?  It is because of them that he turned to CBI to help him.
We know Bertram is creating diversions to keep CBI busy and off of him so you would think he would want Smith out there running around and keeping CBI busy.
My guess is that Reede Smith has info about Red John he doesn't realize he has and/or Kirkland's twin found out Smith killed his brother without permission so he is being punished.
These questions coincide with my previous post:"Did anyone else notice these strange interactions between Grace Van Pelt and Reede Smith?
First - As we have seen in the past, Grace is an Ace shooter so surprised she didn't at least nick Smith.
Second - Not only did she let him escape but she didn't even run after him or get in car and chase him down.  That's not like her.
Third, Reede Smith called in to Van Pelt's direct line from a burner phone AND she automatically recognized his voice when he asked for help.  Since the advent of Caller ID and Cell phones, don't think she would have known it was him via Caller ID since burner phones have no name associated with them unless she recognized his phone number since she could have called or received a call from him before from that number of his burner phone.  Even more interesting, thanks to cell phone contact lists, hardly any of us know phone numbers off the top of our head unless it is a phone number we have known for a very long time or one we have to dial frequently and Smith went from dialing to speaking directly with her.
We know from Van Pelt wearing a strapless wedding dress there are no Red Dot Tattoos on her arm/shoulder but there is, as many have said, something just not right."
