LATEST THEORIES

So after reading the article on TV Spoilers, I will post this here, it's the author's list of 'clues' that are 'spoiler free' regarding RJ and E08. Remember, this reviewer has seen the episode and knows who RJ is, but isn't revealing him (obviously!). So here it is...

- Someone using a phrase "your boyfriend" is gonna make a lot of fans happy.
- Some calls are worth so much more than $300.
- At least two people turn out to be much smarter than it seems.
- Some people just need an appreciation.
- Remember the clues? You should.
- "Hi"
- Someone gets to feel like Al Capone.
- It's always good to have Cho on your side.
- Some people are VERY determined to do their job.

Also, here's a link to the reaction video from Americ at HappyCool who does advanced reviews for Mentalist episodes. He doesn't spoil anything either!

How is it possible for some people to be burnt completely while others in the same room survive the explosion without any serious injuries? Hard to believe... Also, whose foot was that?

I think there's more to come and Bertram is not RJ. Bertram is the head of the Blake Association and the file they found contains a list of all members.

I still think that Haffner is RJ. PJ announced on TV that RJ is Bertram just to make RJ contact him. Wouldn't be the first time for RJ to react to something that PJ says on TV...

I just wanna say how are they gonna answer these questions in 40 mins of show?

1,The smiley face its orgin?
2. HE iS MAr
3. What does stiles and visualize know about red john
4. Did RJ ever meet jane earlier in life?
5. rosiland harker?
6.KristinaFrye  Roll Tide?
7, Why did Red John Reciept Tyger Tyger to Jane
8. Why did Partridge die if he isn't in fact RJ
9.What really happened with the bomb in the jane house
10.why did the gun go off?
11.How did Rj know the list?
12. WHy did Kirkland kill lennon and why bring up the twin
Theres other ones too but does anyone think these questions and more can be answered in 40 mins of tv? Green yes   Red no

In the last episode Gale Bertram is the one and only who's requested to be Red John. The episode is classificated as the real truth about Red John's identity and it seems so. But there's one "mistake". Gale Bertram try to kill Patrick when he's in hospital. Red John never tried to kill Patrick!

I think that Jane could be something close to a family for RJ.

I always thought about Walter Mashburn 'cause he has a real connection with him and his phrases are very very ambiguous.

posted Minelli theories 2 weeks back, reposting them. as now ppl are getting rid of lame ideas finally. and the guy in church from back is likely a thin minelli's - balding etc.

ok guys, first of all, kudos to heller for creatng such a marveland to baker for such a lively and impeccable portrayal of jane. now to business here.

so what do you think PJ is? a wannabee kid detective who would wait for the clues in a treasure hunt to fetch the biggest motive of his life? and what would yhe creator of the show think? they make sure his plan is revealed only in teh end of even the pettiest of his tricks and this is the magnum opus of his life.....and 4
people other than him know it.....wow......i dont buy it and it makes for a boring chase as well i think.  also, you think rj being rj, is still going to be lured by pj into all these silly tricks..like showing his 3 dots to a person right when the heat is on and that person has had a contact with cbi..and do you think pj thinks so lowly of rj tht he will commit such rookie mistakes which btw he dint commit when he was a rookie

so jane is playing the big strategy in this masterful chess game to trap the king..the biggest move he has made imo to date is the list of fake rj suspects,
not the one he gave to kirkland (or planted) but the one he showed to
lisbon......i think he requested lorelei (mybe) to shoot that vide tape for him
when they were together and he put those 7 names there just to confuse
everyone around him..and he promptly destroyed the dvd which is suspicious...so i think he is just confusing everyone else and even rj if he is too active ion bugging his space..and eventually he would say this is the man i knew from before was rj and just wanted to trap him as

he was so clever......and my vote is on Virgil Minneli..
reasons

1-

minelli has been brought twice in the show after resigning and both the

times they meant something (at least the santa episode). why bring a

busy artist to work when thr cud have been 10 ways pj cud have got that

list..and in tht episode minelli said and i quote "thanks for opening my

eyes to some ugly truths i had been avoiding like being  fish

killer".....obviously he needed to resume killing people as rj......much

with the vacations.....also, "you're nuts my freind".

2- minelli

went on vacation just before the mexico killing. aybe then it was a red

herring as it was the first season but en the writers knew they'd get

more seasons they'd say "why not use that bit when its faded from

memory'

3-  they shook hands in episode 100 flashback.

4-

he is well connected and powerful and has a charismatic personality and

is also a renowned actor. now comeone u dnt want rj to be played by

some dummy actor..

5-  once you warm up to this theory, u'd read mcuh between the minelli lines..

two things: i'd like to say I have really enjoyed the mentalist for all 6 seasons. it is one of my favorite shows, and perhaps other than House, has developed the main character as well as any other I can recall. That said, I think the writers went way overboard with red herrings, tricks, twists, and misinformation...so much so that no matter what is revealed there will be TOO many loose ends and suspicion to be able to work through or tie up...we have so much that is still unsolved - the RJ connection to the barn and visualize, how betram ended up in TT to begin with, what happened with Frye, why did Kirkland kill Lennon in the hospital, what happened to Michael Kirkland, why is van pelt so odd...there just won't ever be a satisfactory ending in so far as the plot goes, even after we know who Rj is..Secondly, I have seen a lot of posts about the RJ clue "or until I catch you" - is it possible that RJ expects Jane to find and kill the wrong man and then come along and arrest him? If Rj is way up in TT, then it makes sense that he believes if Jane screws up, he will be there to have evidence that Jane killed the wrong guy and put him away forever. Just a thought
