I'm starting to see Partridge trending again:

Listen, If Partridge was RJ the writers would be going against everything they said the ending would be about..neatly tying up RJ and not ending like shows like Dexter... and they would be jumping the shark.

Lisbon and Cho are the two most anal retentive cops about procedure. Yet both would had to have missed whether he was dead or whether it was him as a corpse. Then the cop or whomever showed up at the scene to announce Partridge was DOA would have to be part of a cover up, along with the ME. Jane told Lisbon in the hospital he was dead. The actor Plotnik said he was dead. Sorry, if they somehow suspend it all to make this guy reappear then they did the show no favors and have made it a joke.

The arm thing has a simple explanation. People are trying to tie that with the real time of when it happened. The reality is that it was probably cut off in Episode 1 by RJ or a Tyger/Tyger person. Why? Well at the time Tyger/Tyger wasn't outed by Jane. At that time, Jane hadn't had his meeting. At that time no one knew about the tatoos. So wouldn't it make sense to cut off the tatoo to hide the existence of a Tyger/Tyger group? Yes, logically it would in the sequence of events.

If I'm wrong, great, but it would be disappointing and take what reality was planted for 6 seasons.

after hearing the red john voice "game over i won" his voice sounded like sean barlow to me, so i rewatched on youtube the scene and the moment they leave the place on the door is a sign..

same symbol different colors.. at sean's place the pyramid is red..

i've been just curious if this is a link or hint that barlow is RJ maybe? anyone has ideas on the symbol?

If you have checked the trailer for the next episode, you can see Jane chasing Red John. Now PAUSE the video at 0:17 (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z77P7ebT0QI). You can see a bit of the hair and now if you compare that hairstyle to any of the suspects..... Its either McAllister or Smith. But by judging the character's height and body shape it has to be McAllister. Just take a look at few pics on Google by searching 'Xander Berkeley' (actor who plays McAllister), and you can see that he has had similiar hairstyles with the same colour matching Red John's hair. 

NB. On Xander Berkeley's wikipedia page, if you check his filmography it says:
- ''The Mentalist (4 episodes, 2008-2013) – Sheriff Thomas McAllister/Red John''.

We know that skin on Partridge's shoulder was removed right. What does it mean ? IMHO it means that Partridge is that. Can you image someone trying to hide a tatoo of a FAKE body? It's nonsense.
"Oh yeah, there is no tatoo. But wait a second, who the f*** is this guy?"

OKay I rewatched scenes again and again and I would be ok with the sheriff,  but we were lead there and that is why I don't think it is him. It is kinda obvious wasn't it with the name THOMAS and the pigeons and the wine. It's too obvious. So I don't think it's him. I would be fine with red John being either him, Haffner or Partridge but I have a feeling it's gonna be someone else on the list. That is why I would actually look out for Bertram- maybe it is him after all. It looks like him in the promo. Maybe the stuntman looks slightly different. We were told there was no tricks but I doubt this is true. Reede Smith- is the one that we don't want or that we don't think it's Red John. We ruled him out from Day 1 if were are entirely honest we don't want him as red John because of his weight and he doesn't match the descriptions at all..but don't rule him out at all. It could still be him. Partridge- Could definitely be him. Ya Cho didn't check we seen him NOT CHECK. There was no off screen check. It's a big mistake though. I wouldn't trust the attendant at the morgue to point out the right box.

So all in all I would be extremly happy with either Partridge, Ray OOOOR the Sheriff as Red John. I just want to know already.

P.S Americ looked in shock didn't really look that happy...it bothers me.

Brett Partridge was killed by Red John.  However, it happened at the
Elliston Barn in 1988.  Red John's bloody hobby was just beginning.  He
knew that he liked it and knew that he wouldn't want to stop.  As John
Stiles, son of Bret Stiles, he would be under more scrutiny during his
lifetime than the average individual.  Brett Partridge had little-to-no
family to miss him.  So, Red John assumed his identity when he left the farm.
