Possible self induced spoiler...

There are some major clues in last weeks episode that we all have missed. That whole scene with van pelt and rigsby and cho in Bertram's man-cave secret hideout was crazy. It seemed like americas favorite couple planted the drive there or knew it was there . Rigsby looking at cho the whole time . Asks if there ok with killing the boss. Its like grace and rigsby planned on asking him that. Cho says yea. Cho finds the usb that they wanted him too. Van pelt "people give them as gifts" really? In his secret hideout he keeps a zippo gift?! Nice try toots. I believe cho is working with jane secretly . Lisbon is bugged and the others are on janes MENTAL LIST and not to be trusted. Rigsby seemed to know about styles fbi report and Bertram's safe house very eerily. Fast forward to abbots fbi takeover of cbi. Jane doesn't seem to care that when he's this close they shut it all down!!!! He hardly blinked and eye !!! Van pelt and rigsby on the other hand are quite disturbed by it all. They give each other a look that if it was a word it be "shit". And the fbi guy says to jane "we can question u later" ..no biggie just a mass conspiracy about murder !!! Is abbot with jane somehow? A kirkland buddy that is pissed his friend got killed ? And the ending when jane "lets go". Jane has been putting on a show in front of lisbon ever since the list. He knows she bugged. Every word he said to her is a plot to make rj think that jane is sure its bertram as his guy. U can tell the look on janes face he wants to tell lisbon but he says "im sorry, for everything ". Not a normal goodbye ...

JANE HAS A MENTAL-LIST THAT IS DIFFERENT FROM ALL THE OTHERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

List 1 for kirkland was bad men that would keep him busy
List 2 the list jane told lisbon and his team and red john basically. This list is what jane pretends to be riding with. Its the tiger tiger crew visualize crew. Red john thinks he is luring jane to tiger tiger and making him fall for bertram is the end if rjs trick
List 3: JANES MENTAL-LIST !!!!! The person or persons whom he believes is red john or associated with. This is the list heller said we should trust. Its the dam name if the show , almost...

Are you all out of your minds? Yes BP was to be RJ, then at some point Heller changed him because it became too obvious. Heller said he was really DEAD, Cho checked up on him he was in that box (for the past 6 episodes), I got pissed too when they changed him but just open your eyes and move on people it's not BP!

Now in that encounter between Jane and Kirkland, why the hell would they mention his brother is a TWIN? I doubt it's just for show, he could have said my brother vanished I'm looking for him I think RJ killed him, why TWIN?
There might be some discrepancies here and there to contest the fact that one of the Kirkland brothers is RJ but too many things fit in place for me, I'm 100% positive it's him.

Patrick Jane exposed Gale Bertram to the press as Red John, clearly that's a trick. If Gale Bertram is really Red John, why do we need the big reveal in episode 8 if we already had it in episode 7? SIMPLE AS THAT.

Hey guys

Seeing as this Sunday we finally come to the end of the Red John journey I thought I'd do a quick theory as to how the writers may still catch us out.  I doubt it though, and I must say the way thing turned out so far has been quite disappointing.  But lets do a final roundup of the last few episodes.

In a previous post I took a look at the GPS trackers in the first episode of season 6 and proved that apart from Partridge, whom I was disappointed to see dead in episode 7, Gale Bertram was the closest to the scene where Partridge died, which was about 16 minutes away.

Now once again, we find that one person is being made to seem like an obvious Red John, which is Bertram. He's the only one of the 7 who is still alive apart from Reede Smith, yet Reede Smith seems to not be Red John. He seems too weak. Gale has the tattoo he murdered a bartender and he is on the run because of the Blake Organization.  In the preview for episode 8 we see, who seems to be Bertram, join Patrick in the church and Patrick saying "Now you want to beg for mercy?" to him while he points the gun at him. Does this not strike you as a bit of an "easy conclusion"? I mean Patrick is in the church at the end of episode 7 so whoever that is comes in at the START of episode 8.  So is it really Red John?

I'm still curious about Bret Stiles. I know I know... He's "Dead", but as we've seen in a former Visualize episode, when a cop that is part of Visualize is asked to 'clean' the crime scene, they do so with no regard for their well being.  Also on numerous occasions we've heard that Bret communicates with Red John, so why is he acting all dumb in episode 6 when Jane wants to see his arm?  He must be clued up on this.

Other things, they said that at the end of episode 1, there is a big clue. I thought it is the GPS tracker thing, or Partridge saying "Tyger Tyger", but others say that as well so why episode 1? Then I realized that Red John paints blood on Lisbon's face, the same way Stiles paints his disciples' faces in the ritual in episode 6.

The three dots tattoo? As previously stated by another user, this could also be a mark made during chemo therapy, we know that Bret Stiles is dying, he said he does not have long, so could he have cancer and the three dots were a mark after getting treatment? Why did the writers feel we need to know he's dying, when they planned to kill him at the end of the episode in which they reveal that he will die soon? The information seems irrelevant when not taken into the Red John context.

Older clues include him knowing where Kristina Frye was. He helped PJ get Lorrelei out of prison, clearly Red John wanted her out to kill her so that's a coincidence.  He also semi-hypnotized Van Pelt which to me shows he has the same abilities as Patrick and also when he meets Patrick, they seem like they are jousting as they speak.

Thank you everyone for enjoying the show with me and for all the fun discussions on this site.

Enjoy Sunday's episode.

For those who believe your suspect could still be Red John: Someone as careful and calculating as RJ could have
planned/planted DNA or faked evidence if tyger tyger is really as deep
as they make it sound. Confirmation of the deaths
from the blast is brought to light and accepted as fact during the show before
mistrust in other law enforcement is placed. Forensics and all 'facts' that are not in front of us are up for debate. I do, however think that Partidge is dead. It makes no sense that CBI agent Cho would somehow not recognize a former colleague or look at his face to be absolutely certain it's him. Especially when there is so much mistrust going around. I give the writers more credit than that. That being said, the "DNA evidence" is not anything concrete that we can trust. This leaves Mcallister, Haffner and Stiles all available to possibly be alive. It is a fair guess assume that Patrick Jane isn't convinced that RJ is Bertram. Bertram is an evil man so PJ doesn't care about the pressures or situation Bertram is in now with the finger pointed at him, but he isn't RJ. Patrick wants RJ all to himself. That being said, I have no idea who RJ is but my hat is off to the creator for making such an interesting finale and finally bring this wonderful mystery to a satisfying close. Right until the very end.
