LATEST THEORIES

What a worthless ending.  The final meeting between RJ and Jane totally lacked atomosphere. I mean, where is that evil Moriarty who outsmarts and charm everyone?

Are you seriously telling me this bald sheriff managed to make all those people follow him like some God. Lorelei, Kristina Frye and Rosalind Harker?

RJ was just afraid the whole episode, running like a scared child, begging for his life. Where is the genius? Where's the man that's supposed to resemble Jane and wanting to be friends with him?

He couldn't even predict that Patrick would have something up his sleeve (literally) and happily go in front of him. What a stupid man.

This whole season has been so mentally retarded and un-genius it's embarrasing. This for a show that's called "The Mentalist" and should all be about mindgames.

Fire all writers, including Bruno Heller but only after they go out in public and apologize!

Can someone please tell me what is going on ?? How does everyone know who Red John is when the episode hasn't been aired yet ? Or has it ??? Please Explain :((

I'm irritated by the Red John episode just as everyone else is, but I actually thought that the best choice for RJ was either McAllister or Partridge (solely based on character, not on the evidence).

I'm disappointed in the fact that this episode didn't explain jack shit (pardon my language, but it's still more excusable than that piss-poor performance put on by Bruno Heller).

What do I do with my life guys?!?! How should I reconcile my disappointment? Can the avid fans of The Mentalist congregate, formulate a super genius theory/backstory for RJ, gather the cast & crew, and recreate S6E8 before Sunday?

It's worth a shot huh? I just checked twitter.com/search for "red john" and saw fans containing all of the anticipation that we experienced a couple hours ago before the link was leaked. I feel bad for those guys, but I feel even worse for THE FANS ON THIS SITE because we're obsessively insane about this show and I think 95%+ who witnessed the reveal were all let down.

Heller seriously needs to pull some Mentalist magic on us now to regain our confidence in him.

I'm going to go lie in the fetal position until I go to sleep because that's basically what RJ did. WE'RE TALKING ABOUT A SADISTIC, SICK, TWISTED, POMPOUS, EGOMANIAC!!! And when I saw him break down emotionally and beg for mercy, I LOST IT. The last image of RJ you'll ever see is the image of a sissy little man begging for his life while he's taken countless others? NOOOOOOOOOO! I want to see RJ uphold the narcissism. I want to see him die with the evil radiating from his eyes. Instead, we get puppy dog eyes and some weak grunts. WHAT THE HELL YO?!?!

So much more that I could rant about, but I'll stop here to make sure that my blood pressure doesn't skyrocket from this RJ stuff, or else I could be the 1st RJ victim post-mortem, if that makes any sense.

**** this bullshit. If indeed McAllister is Red John, why would you post that knowing that there are thousands of people who visit this website. Even if it was a stupid ass ending you shouldn't just spoil it like that for everyone. And also, why the hell would Bruno Heller release the episode early to the press, he should know that it will be eventually be leaked. I just hope he released a fake video so we can all be shocked the right way.

Show this theory

I think most people who know the show would agree with this statement:

"The one sure thing we can be sure of is that nothing is for sure."

Those familiar with Agatha Christie's And Then There Were None:

The
judge, Justice Wargrave is thought to be dead. His body is verified
dead by a doctor.  A few are left, but still end up dead.  Justice
Wargrave was never dead and was the murderer the whole time.

I'm
not saying anything. Just take this at face value. With all the
corruption in law enforcement and little technicalities, NOBODY on the
list could be dead certainly. (Okay, probably Robert Kirkland, but who knows, maybe Reede Smith made up the story and the death was faked.)

are you all smoking crack?
i mean please, dont be so frickin' stoopid!
after six years of hype and suspense you believe the shows producers firstly leak the finale to some idiot, that the idiot is allowed without fear of prosecution or breach of confidentaility clause to leak the plot and ending of the finale, and that CBS dont remove the link?
hello? planet earth to everyone...are you there?
doesn't anyone smell the faintest whiff of a mentalist twist here or are the beer fumes to over powering??
the obvious release of misinformation to get you all nashing your teeth and wringing your wirsts.
its a set up. sure as day.
in a twist you could almost predict the "spoiler" is simply Heller and CBS having a laugh at you.
can we all put our brains together and come up with at least one cell and think it through.
sheesh.  theres been some good theories. dont give in now!
ok, good nite.
