I bet the team got so many question for jane in EP 9 about red john so does the fbi, the fbi wont go away that easly, not even 2 years, if you didn't know in EP 9 we time skip 2 years after red john death

You guys got it all wrong. That pigeon planned it all. It gathered its friends and followed Patrick wherever he goes until he made the connection to RJ. Patrick isn't the mastermind who figured it all out, it's the pigeon! And it was there for a final showdown. RJ didn't run away from Patrick, he ran away from the pigeon. Now it makes sense why RJ was so scared and acted like a coward, doesn't it?
It was always involved in the story, right from the beginning but we didn't notice. Because it's a silent guardian, a watchful protector. A dark pigeon.
