No, no, no...no fucking way.

Red John died in season 3. Timothy Carter was the real deal, voice and perfect speech, not this mumbojambo bullshit.

McAllister: The game is over and I've won...Patrick, this high-pitched voice is really difficult, damn this Bruno Heller for making me use it.
McAllister: So, you wanna know about the list?
PJ: No.
McAllister: Come on, don't you wanna know?
PJ: No.
McAllister: Pretty please...
PJ: I said no.
McAllister: I do not know it either how I got it....Ha ha ha.
PJ: Why did you kill Bertram?
McAllister: I kill Bertram, I kill you, game over I've won...You are making me say it again. I've told you that is difficult for me.
PJ: You know that I've had a cup of tea and a bagel earlier. I have something for you.
McAllister: Let me come closer to you and hold my hand.
PJ: Aha...
McAllister: Nice one, Patrick...You knew I was afraid of turtle doves. You got me...now I have to run
.....................

Lisbon: We all need to stay in the car and let Jane catch his killer. The big FBI boss said to stay nice and quiet.

.............................................

Woman in the cemetery: A man is shot and I'm screaming like an idiot....Mister, mister, Usain Bolt went that way...go and shoot him again...
PJ: Much appreciated m'am...

PJ: M'am give me that phone...have no fear the police is here...

Police: 911, what's your emergency?
McAllister: Yeah, this is the serial killer Red John, you may have heard of me.
Police: Sure, Please state the nature of your emergency.
McAllister: Someone is trying to kill me, ha ha ha.

PJ: Ok, Red John, blink me once if Bruno Heller is an idiot, blink me twice if he is a moron.
PJ: Can you that again? I didn't catch that the first time.
McAllister: What about the list?
PJ: NO.
McAllister: OK, bye bye cruel world.

That's all folks!

Leaving aside the jokes, Red John has nothing in common with this 6th season Red John. They made up a handshake, a bullshit phobia and a whistler. Pick your favorite, anyway they all wind up dead.

If I could forget the last 3 seasons, I would.

I think I'm going to trust thereelmentalist's clue/ spoilers/theory whatever you called it. The first 20 minutes of episode 8 will be predictable but after that the real deal will be revealed and make much more sense.
I also like his two red john theory. One is voice n one is the Killer(aka the real red john)
Which makes the fearful symmetry makes sense.

Good god...when Patrick said "You are Red John" and heared footsteps from the church entrance i was soooo excited to see Mashburn or Partridge show up and prove to Patrick again that he is always a step ahead.

And wtf? RJ calling 911? even Bob Kirkland faced his death like a hero.

It's really sad when you feel you are watching the greatest show ever and a serial killer with great mind then you have this mixed feelings :-( .

What a poor writing from the man who created RJ!!.

I believe that the season 3 finale was WAY better than this one.

Hiii does anybody knows what do pigeons mean?? I think its a clue, but no what about? And i think im a little dissapointed because if RJ reveals, its because he calls PJ, not because PJ found him :(..!! What do you think? I think PJ is too smart for know who RJ is before RJ stops the game and  reveal his identity

The Mentalist‘s Amanda Righetti Confirms Exit, Teases ‘Surprise’ Send-Off For Van Pelt

By Michael Ausiello
With her departure from The Mentalist on the horizon, Amanda Righetti is finding comfort in a familiar refrain: change is good.

Speaking out for the first time about her spring exit, the actress concedes, “I feel like the time is probably right,” adding, “It’s the end of one thing but the beginning of something new.”

Righetti, who is leaving alongside leading man Owain Yeoman, admits that she’s still in the dark about how exactly Van Pelt and Rigsby will be written out of the CBS drama. “It keeps changing,” she explains. “It’s been a little bit of a fly-by-the-seat-of-our-pants season. I think it was sort of an unexpected turn for the writers too, to have the show kind of be reworked this season. So everybody’s kind of trying to figure it out. And [they're] probably keeping it close to the vest so it comes as a surprise to everyone that is watching.”

In the meantime, Righetti confirms that Van Pelt and Rigsby will play a role in the show’s post-Red John era, which kicks off in the Dec. 1 episode (following a two-year time jump). “Basically, they have their own private security company,” she reveals. “So we sort of are outsourced and freelanced with the FBI, and that’s how we fit in.” (Reporting by Scott Huver)

I find it funny how everyone's either bitching about the reveal, or is in denial—trying to convince yourselves that this episode is a fake, and that this story deserves a better ending. Fine, it wasn't the climactic, jaw-dropping, gut-wrenching reveal that we all expected. However, you forget two important things about this episode.

Firstly, this episode was always going to be about Patrick. Nothing more, nothing less. It was about him finally getting his wish, finding justice. You're supposed to look at it from Patrick's point of view, not a third person viewer demanding for answers. He didn't want answers, he didn't want to give Red John the satisfaction and appreciation that Red John so desperately craves for and has fed on for so long. If you expected all the answers to be revealed in this episode then you're just impatiently unreasonable and stupid. There's still more than half a season to go, and I'm sure answers will come. And also, Xander Berkeley is a great actor, and he did justice to the Red John character, in my opinion. I don't understand how everyone's bitching about the acting.

Secondly, you forget that Heller himself did warn us about how our own ideas and theories of how Red John should be; how we've built up this almost untouchable immortal personality in our heads was going to ultimately leave us feeling disappointed and cheated on. But in all honesty, if you take a moment to reflect on the last 5 years, was this cruel? Should we feel led on for the past 5 years? Can we curse the producers and accuse them of having a knee-jerk reaction of a decision to choose McAllister as Red John? I wouldn't. I believe that Heller did know whom he wanted as Red John from the beginning, and that they probably did stick to the general plot from the get go. But clearly, as with any TV show, there are going to be instances of uncertainty from the producers part, depending on external factors such as whether the show is going to continue for another season each year, whether the actors playing some of these characters were going to be available at given times in the script, as well trying to please a wider audience to have the necessary views for the show to continue. I believe that it was 'cause of the fans' whining in the first place—about how the Red John saga was dragging along for too long.. yadda yadda—that the creators had to rush with the plot and reveal this season. You only have yourselves to blame, really.

All I have to say is, instead of whining about it, how about we try and be thankful for what we got, for once. Heller and co. have done an amazing job at keeping all of us entertained and guessing for the past 5 years, with all in all, a brilliant set of characters, a brilliant storyline and a brilliant production. I'm just grateful to have been part of the journey.

Guys!

I understand many are disappointed but have faith to at least watch the episode when it airs.

Just like Lost I think this is a planted leak, missing several of the layers of the real conclusion.

Lots of the scenes will be common to both episodes, but I think (hope) we will tune in and within a few minutes there will be a clear difference from the leak version and your pulse will quicken as you realise all bets are off!

It's great that going into the episode even the diehard fans who have spent hours on the site will be shocked with the episode we see.
