Guess with less than 24 hours to go I'll spill the beans.
Red John was introduced in the Pilot, but it's not Brett Partridge.
It's Morgan Tolliver.
Pretty obvious once you realize that Tolliver is the Americanized form of Taliaferro. It's a common name in the south, I can't believe after 6 seasons nobody else picked up on this.
Just Google taliaferro, tolliver or any combination thereof.
PLEASE, Bruno Heller.......... this episode HAS to be fake.
McAllister even called PJ of "PAT".

When you watch the scene here where Red John rescues Jane, the build doesn't fit for the person they make it out to be in the leaked episode. I'm 100% convinced this leaked episode is a fake.

Whoever Red John is, I look forward to this site continuing as a 'support group' to help each other answer unanswered questions (you know that will happen), defend the most intricate analysis of RJ should/shouldn't have been, and further speculation about the TT organizations. In other words, we, too, will take on a life of our own!!
Now won't that be just grand?!? I can hardly wait......
....meanwhile, let's hope the imminent "Red John" episode matches the high caliber of the series to date!!
(P.S.....I still do not think RJ is one of the seven on that list, and believe Mashburn is the villain)
First off i did watch the episode yes it was horrible and really bad scripted. My guess that episode is a alternate ending for the dvd box. Yes cbs has screwed up in the past it was not hacking it was a embedded source code 1. Cbs is not that dumb. 2. They have a system that alerts them if a high amount of downloaded/uploaded data is being used. I think the episode is real but 50/50. No i am not one of those people that are denying it because of how horrible the episode was its just certain things happened and were said that is not typical heller. We will see sunday another ending. Its just my feeling and theory
Heller had to stop there. Season 1 - 3 were Red John (Timothy Carter) died. He was a perfect Red John. It was a perfect final. But "pigeon", "911", "don't kill me Patric" ... too much for me.
Well, I guess the only explonation is that all the questions will be somehow answerd in future episodes, perhaps Patrick will be figuring out all the tricks Red John performed untill the end of this season? What bothers me though is that Heller claimed that all the answers will be given in this particular episode...
