LATEST THEORIES

The Red John story has been a huge part of the series from the start. As seasons went on, how much of the journey changed?
Heller: "No, the story played out from the start and is climaxing as was planned. I would say that though it's like life. Every year, it adds complications. Life happens, and if you try to tell the story of your life when you're 20, it's actually quite a simple story to tell. But by the time you're 40, there are things that have happened to you that you've forgotten and you can't really explain. It's not so much that our conception of the Red John story changed; the more weight it accumulates, the more you have to explain. This is more of a technical challenge for the writing. You want to bring people along with the story that gets more and more complex — not because we want to complicate it, but because it has more and more detail. The one thing you can't do, or the one thing I refuse or try not to do, is the "As you know, Jane" lines to have people catch up. It's both become deeper, richer and more complex, and at the same time harder to tell, but much more real, frankly. When you start a show like this, the story you're describing is a vague dream of the future. Now, like real life, for the actors and everyone involved, they've been chasing Red John for all these years so they've accumulated a certain amount of world experience and weight about them, which makes it much more fun."

How do you think the Red John reveal will be received?
Heller: "Oooh, you know what, going back to the jumping up and taking your clothes off, you don't worry about [that]. (Laughs.) I hope they like it. I hope people are satisfied and hope it's a great, fun conclusion to that particular aspect of the show. But you can only do your best and put it out there. I know that everyone here is happy and pleased. Sometimes you're forced to hate the conclusions or the wrapping things up in silly, absurd ways or in fact — naming no shows — it turns out they didn't have any idea how they were going to end the show or what the secret was or why there were polar bears. We have the answers and it's very important to us, for those people who have been following us from the start, to reveal not in a series of cryptic moments that leave a lot of questions begged. We're going to tell the story and explain who Red John is and what happened and what is going to happen as clearly as possible because the audience deserves that."

Now...pls, look at the "complex" lines from the leaked episode...
- So where is Jane?
- I don't know!
- I think you do!
- I can't help what you think!
- Your boyfriend....
- He's not my boyfriend!
- Where is Jane?
- Don't ask!
- She just did! :D :D

So unless Heller dropped 70 IQ points over night, there's no way this is the real deal!!!
No music, simple lines (so the actors can memorize it in 5 mins), ridiculous change of scenes, ridiculous things happening...come on!

I'll just repeat my previous comment:
Heller is a GENIUS!!! He's messing with us and he is soooo damn good at it! How could anyone possibly think he would finish the RJ story like that?
RJ, so well elaborated character, on which mental abilities they've worked for 6 years, ends up crying and calling 911 (hilarious part, btw :D ), without playing any mental chess with PJ, without anything?!
Heller created RJ and PJ, guys, for the love of god! :D Think about what he can do to our minds! :D    LOVE IT!!!

I've seen the leaked episode a couple of times now, and managed to reconcile that McAllister is RJ.

However two things don't fit:

1) It says it was filmed in 2012

2) It is also called Episode 7564 (not 5608 as it should have been after the last one was called 5607)

Lastly, for all the people so proudly proclaiming it is the real episode - we were all desperate to see the past few episodes, each one of them was big on their own this season so far. Yet how come nobody on here managed to spring a leak for any of them? Especially the episode that was missed the US due to the football? I don't remember seeing any CBS website links to uncut/unedited versions of that on here. It just seems a little too convenient to have this episode show up five days before the real one. Who even leaked it in the first place? Does anyone know? Was it even leaked on this website first? And if so, why didn't we get any of the other episodes like this?

(All the magazines have been writing previews about all the other episodes too, so I won't accept the excuse that this was the most important episode, so it was put up on the website for previewing to the press)

I think that Linus is RJ; the episode teaser showed a bald guy with a semilier voice

C'mon guys...In a lot of years of this show, do you really think the "leaked episode" is the real episode??? Heller is the real mentalist, he played with our minds for six years!!! RJ is Brett P.
So obvius!!

There are heavy rumours Brett Partridge is Red John on tonight's episode, and I
will take that at this point.

Verification: The first scene in the
church, includes the return of a woman who all thought dead.

Oh and
basically, you'll know straight away, during the different recap that this
episode is different to the one leaked.

Stay tuned on Sunday guys!

There's two details that make me think the leaked episode is fake.

-In the promo we see Jane taking a gun from a wood box. No scenes match that one in the leaked episode.

-When McAllister comes into the church, in the leaked episode the head of Bertram appears after the pew, but in the promo there's no trace of Bertram.

I ACTUALLY think, that even Scooby-Doo writers are better at explaining things than Heller and his team of geniuses, in Scooby-Doo you could at least figure out yourself who was the bad guy because of all the actual clues, and they always explained everything.

I'm okay with sheriff being Red John, to be honest his identity wasn't that important - what was importatn though, was to tie up all the loose knots, explain everything there is to explain. Why the hell were they giving us all those clues, from season one to six, all the Kristinas, Boscos, "He Is Mar..", Rosalinds...?
