LATEST THEORIES

My friends, after reading some interviews from BH and Simon Baker, I re-watched the leaked episode and now fear it may be legit.

http://www.tvguide.com/News/Mentalist-Simon-Baker-Red-John-Time-Jump-Bruno-Heller-1073793.aspx
- Black FBI agent is going to be a series regular going forward. This explains why they spent so much time on the bullshit FBI/CBI rivalry, to set up the backstory for the black FBI guy
- "It's a little like they're the children of divorce," Heller says of the disbanded CBI crew. Explains the childish "in-fighting" between Rigsby/Cho/Van Pelt in the car...sets the stage for the CBI team going their separate ways
- "Baker, who directed the first post-Red John episode, airing Dec. 1, said
he was adamant that the name "Red John" not even be uttered in the
hour." Doesn't look like we will get any explanations on "He is man", Rosalind's description, the coded list, Visualize connection etc. Everyone, BH and Baker included, seem to be sick of the RJ storyline and just want to move on. Baker: "Sometimes the frustration for me as an actor is that we're not going
anywhere, not moving forward. In this, we're definitely going somewhere,
and the stakes are high and it gives me something to do that I can
really get my teeth into."

Then I re-watched the leaked 6x8:
- Everyone expected Jane to have some grand plan to FIND OUT who RJ was. So when McAllister just shows up like that, obviously we're outraged because it was so easily given away. But if you think about it, Jane's grand plan was actually how to KILL RJ, which was executed by hiding the gun in the church, pigeon, breadcrumbs, etc.
- Obviously BH cares more about new viewers (rather than those of us who have been following from the beginning). That's why he's rebooting the series. From this point of view, the way the episode was constructed makes a lot of sense. All the stuff we think is "irrelevant" is designed to set up the next leg of the show. The amateur "twist" (McAllister not Bertram omg!) will probably thrill the average idiots that watch this show, but leave all of us on this website incredibly disappointed. Same thing with the chase scene. People that watch this show casually (maybe just started this season) will like to see the exciting chase scene; they don't give a damn about the clues from the last five season. My point is that that is exactly the demographic that BH cares about and is trying to capture, not us.

In sum, I feel like the leaked 6x8 makes a lot of sense from a forward-looking point of view, wrapping up the RJ storyline and setting up the next leg of the series. But if you look back and try to reconcile 6x8 with what has happened before, it is incredibly disappointing. Too bad BH only cares about money and new viewers, and thus went for the first approach.

We will see in a few hours...everyone who thinks the leaked 6x8 is the real one, vote green. If you still think this leaked episode is a red herring after reading my post, and the real one will be released tonight, vote red. Like all of you true Mentalist loyalists, I hope I'm wrong and Partridge/Kirkland comes back, but I fear for the worst.

I am still saying the liked episode is not complete or is comepletly fake, we know this show for many things, great acting, allmost no mistakes in the story line, and first and for most turns and shocks and unespected twists:

The lIked Episode:

Acting: Oh! my god theres was so much BAD acting on this episode , just 2 examples, Bertram when he gest shot,  going EEEY!! i cant believe the asociation would kill me and dropping like a big fat sack of shit, McAllister runing afraid of PJ and asking for mercy like a P**Y

Mistakes: The freaking 140 LBS pigeon hidden in PJ pokett that Cordero missed when he searched him , wtf man are your hands dead your fingers frozen , if you missed the pigeon he could have a Bazzoka attached to his forhead and you wouldnt find it.

Twist Turns and all the good stuff: Just straight up , we all knew Bertram was a decoy, we were expecting the reveal, so Jane gets a call goes to a church, confronts Bertram, finds out he is not RJ and TATA RJ reveals him self and gets killed, where the fuck are the twist and turs, where is the OMFG i did not spected that???

If you look up in youtube.com  americ´s video from happy cool, you will see the dude making faces as if the episode had a few great and shoking moments, this episode if we wanna be kind, haves one 1 moment that your asshole became presurice, if you will, and thats when McAllister shows up, whrere is the other WOWWWWWWWWW FUCK ME WITH A DIAMOND DICK MOMENTS???

IF THIS AINT A FAKE EPISODE IS THE WORST ENDING FOR A SHOW EVER!!!

I´m not saying like other people that Heller should die or nothing like that, but he should have at list a really painfull shit every time he haves a bowel movement for at list the next 2 weeks!!!

Cheers Folks!

I noticed that the order of the suspects at the top of this site changes. The order of their pictures I mean.

And I'm also sad that they had it all going for them and this was the path they chose to reveal Red John. Even I think I had some better ideas, and I'm not the best plotter. I'm hoping the episode is missing some scenes because a lot of you guys are disappointed in it. We all want answers and apparently there's not gonna be too many tonight.

They should have recalled the episode "revenge"

bob kirkland kills bret stiles

lorelei martins eventually kills ray haffner

and jane kills partridge

The best part is they were all dead, so nothing consequences! Well except for Jane's massive web of lies being chased up by the FBI when they find out Bertram wasn't redjohn...

Let's go through so reality here:

1) There millions upon millions Mentalist fans throughout the world. It's been this way for 6 years. In 6 years this site has generated around 15,000 theories..many lately...and those have been by probably 1000 people by looking at the names I see around all the time

2) Taking the above into context, Heller nor anyone else is going to try and appease less than 1% of the fan base. In fact a majority of viewers don't know this site or care for spoilers.

3) The fact that there has been no major publication of the spoiler makes me thing its real and that a majority of places don't pay attention  this stuff. Wouldn't a major show leak be big news if people even cared as much as we do?Also, if you write one great episode and no one has guessed RJ yet why make a fake and leak it...for a tiny few fans?

4) I'm an adult and don't care if the leak was real or fake or who RJ is as long as I like the show and what happens after. People need to be civil and stop being children because you maybe didn't get your way. Also, stop giving yourself too much credit. Heller isn't here crafting a show for less than 1% of people.

Enjoy
