You are not appreciating the big twist Bruno
promised us, my friends.
McAllister said (with deer-like eyes):
"You got it wrong, I'm not Red John".
But indeed he was!!!
Who could expect that!?
Bruno Heller is a genius...
P.S. Yes, it's irony.

In the pilot Jane says, “Red John thinks of himself as an artist, a showman, he has a strong sense of theater” and “Red John wouldn’t risk capture just to taunt me.” hmmmmm...
You guys are great to create your own personal end. It's like reading a book with a thousand facets, where each show a creative side of himself. I'll try to give my own explanation, acceptable or not.
I think RJ did believe in PJ to be involved in Blake's Association so that Patrick had been heavily against them. RJ is not part of BA, indeed led PJ to remove it if you notice. He brought everyone to discover, killing the boss (Tomas McAll.) Which led RJ to declare themselves as such. (just as he did with timothy carter).
Please Plotonick Jack, i'm waiting for you!
Look at Heller's interview to Hollywood Reporter:
On whether Red John's disciplines will take actionHeller: Never say never, but I would say the audience and the story demands that we step away from that trope for a while. The trouble with these stories where you're playing tricks on the audience with "Who is it?" mysteries is that you can get way too mysterious. And there were a lot of people who said all the way along that Patrick Jane was Red John. When you've got that kind of elaborate thinking out there, it's dangerous to come back to stories unless you're coming back to that story with full force, because people will start thinking "Red John is not dead!" Red John is dead.
So I guess this is it guys.

The real ending didn't air because Bruno Heller was smart enough to realise Red John being Ray Haffner/Brett Partridge duo would make people mad. If the real episode ever airs, you'll know what I'm talking about.Although I say they were a duo, Brett Partridge killed Patrick's family. Like that makes it any better?...How do I know this before the fake episode, has even been announced to be fake by CBS? Because I too like Sheriff McAllister and Sean Barlow possess real powers. JK, I bugged Bruno Heller. So, in a few days I will point you back here to witness my pseudo-psychic powers.
To Partridge fans, I think they might agree:
The woman who attacked Jane in the church looked a lot like Partridge, no? As we gathered from Pigeon Lady in the park, Partridge does like to dress like a woman, so is it not possible that Partridge came dressed like a woman again? Just in time, as always. She/He is the real Red John. Maybe Red John is a cross dresser, that's why we missed all the Waldo moments. McAllister was no Waldo, so it must be Partridge in women's clothes roaming around the screen. You should all go back and find more Partridge-dressed-as-a-woman moments in past seasons.
Jeez.
I not only feel sorry for the fans (including myself) but i feel bad for Simon baker as well. Since the producer and writers decided to take a dump on the whole show, Simon baker will be known as the guy in that show with a crap ending. Simon Baker is an amazing actor and i will admire him nonetheless but my oh my i feel empty on the inside after watching that episode. And for crying the fu*k out loud Partridge fans.............. Partridge is DEAD. Stop posting idiotic theories that he was the guy in the red sweater. I hope Heller realizes what a great show he ruined.
