LATEST THEORIES

This past week has been absolutely horrible for real mentalist fans. First we get that horrible reveal that a Mastermind serial killer  was killed due to a pigeon who happened to be in Jane's pocket the whole time. And just today we found out Bruno Heller is a fraud!! The whole story line is based on a show called "The profiler"! Absolutely gutted.....................

Seems that everyone makes it very complicated I have a idea maybe wrong who knows but I feel from watching all of them that Red John is working with someone. Partner I feel Grace Van Pelt is the Partner to Red John I feel this for many reasons. She is the closest to Lisbon so she can get the info all the time to Red John she has access to many programs computer to help her with this she started at CBI same time Red John killed. I feel the drawing on the Wall witch I feel is like leaving your signature to the crime its wasn't about blood it was about her with red hair red eyes she is all red I think she drew the drawing. She is the most likely suspect to be in this he ask Red John is that was him do you want to know how I got the names he said no. He got the names from Grace. Do you really think a CBI would let people get married I say to that no way. Also if she was like a low person in it she would have dots on her shoulder but she must not he sleeps with her and am sure he has nothing to do with it. so there is my theory so if we end up seeing Grace in it with who ever Red John could be even though we think he is dead who knows maybe not. Maybe a lot crazy thinking but we will see.

Why the hell did Kirkland kill that man in the hospital?? It makes even less sense now than before..
The man didn't know who Kirkland was, Kirkland knew the man wasn't Red John. Wtf??
Bruno Heller doesn't give a damn about his own show!

Episode 8: Red John; "I smell bullshit."

- Episode URL leaks via source code 3 days early. Then Jimmy Gadd says the CBS press site was hacked. Since when has purely viewing source code been known as hacking?

- The content is removed 15 hours from leaking...

- Episode 8 leaks to French iTunes many, many hours before it airs

- Promo pic of Patrick and a dying, wounded McAllister is leaked

- Jordan Harper and Jimmy Gadd give the leak publicity by tweeting about it. Good job guys.

https://twitter.com/jimmygadd

- The episode airs. Jimmy Gadd tweets a reply saying "We'll see," on 25th November in reply to a question, which pretty much asks "Is that the end of Red John?" Ok, either Jimmy knows something or... he actually has no clue.

Now here's the kicker. Jimmy Gadd was asked another question and he responds "I truly don't know." This time, he actually has no clue. So, its safe to say Jimmy knows something about Red John that we don't.

- Jimmy Gadd asks to view the Hitler video about episode 8. Ok, I understand he didn't write the episode himself, but it could be seen as a tad disrespectful to other writers... unless he knew it was a spoof. A fake. He wanted that kind of funny, creative and angry reaction.

- *Lists 50 things wrong about the episode*

- When the puzzle of clues is solved, RJ should be Brett Partridge. There is no other answer. If you say the clues could point to anyone, well, you haven't solved it!

- Co-incidentally a lot of people said the very last person in the last frame of the episode is Brett Partridge (a man standing in front of a slide)

- Then, a day later, Bruno Heller writes an article in which he says

"Check out the extras in the last frame of the show and you'll see how much attention to detail goes into the work, and how carefully Chris Long plans his shots…"

I will concede it's lame that they didn't tie up or answer any questions in another way (Flashback, or what have you.) With so much build up and so many questions it's upsetting to fans to be left completely hanging with this many loose ends. I won't say it's 'bad storytelling' but it is certainly cruel and perhaps lazy storytelling for the diehard fans who have spent so much time and effort piecing together clues that ultimately never even mattered.

Now let's explore lazy and cruel storytelling. After all this time, the answer to your questions is "He had a vast criminal organization at his fingertips and was the leader." This explains everything and doesn't show you the specifics of how it's done. Both lazy and cruel to people who want to see it in action, to understand and appreciate the intricate complexities of a fluid story that is seamless all throughout its existence.

With all of that being said, I still I enjoyed the
final Red John episode. To elaborate further, the fact they didn't give
Red John the ability to grandstand in front of Patrick was fitting. The
way it was shot, and how it all transpired was very appropriate to how I
think the creator had always envisioned the downfall of RJ. Patrick got
vengeance and RJ got to be the pathetic worm after all of this time. RJ brought down to a human level and extinguished after 10 years of torturing and leaving Patrick in wonder, the tables FINALLY turned. It's just a bit of a shame they didn't do more to satisfy more diehard fans.

Just spreading the word, thanks to "theotherjumpshot". This is from wikipedia article
about TV series "The profiler" (1996-2000). Please, take a min to read.

Dr. Samantha "Sam" Waters (Ally Walker) is a forensic psychologist working for the FBI's Violent Crimes Task Force based in Atlanta, Georgia. She is a "profiler"; she has a unique gift to "see" through the eyes of others which gives Sam a special insight into the workings of the criminal mind. While she performs all of her duties diligently, her real motive lies in a both professional and personal tragedy years earlier in which her husband was murdered by a serial killer known only as Jack of All Trades (played by Dennis Christopher, who was never fully seen until the middle of the third season, when he first appeared posing as a buffoonish sheriff of a small California town).

P.S. To the webmaster. It's good you solved the problem with the download of the pages.
I think you should also make possible that popular (and funny, or important) comments don't get lost between the others. Maybe special pages for the comments over 20likes, 40 likes, not just TOP 5. Anyway, great job, man.
