“Red John thinks of himself as an artist, a showman, he has a strong sense of theater” and “Red John wouldn't risk capture just to taunt me.”
- Patrick Jane , Pilot episode.

“I am pretty sure Red John is not a woman”
- Patrick Jane, Season 6 episode 1

The assignment "Red John" was given to the serial killer by the police and public. The nickname itself deceives us from the first episode, making us assume blindly that Red John is definitely male. Kristina Frye is both a strong mental mastermind and a persona fitting the serial killer's identity. She shook hands with Patrick, she was erased from the equation in the most sloppy way possible (Comparing it to Patrick's thoroughness) and she found numerous opportunities to mock and play with Patrick in a friendly way. She was "abducted" by Red John and the similarities to things Red John minions have said are immense.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eiRGU_RneLM @1:50 Exact quote of McAllister in S6E8.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y97GV22SVWk @2:40 Last thing we ever heard of Kristina.

There's no real proof that the so-called list of 7 suspects includes Red John and frankly excluding all female suspects was the biggest goof in my eyes. Kristina Frye remains the most probable suspect for myself and I'd be really delighted if she indeed is Red Johnette.

My hope:
Styles is alive. Lisbon eluded to him being alive with foreshadowing. Macalister started tiger tiger but styles was his teacher . How else could he brainwash kristina frye ? Macalister pulled
Out styles before the bomb.
Van pelt is related to styles. I know this show has made up clues for no reason but they are showing us a weird connection between the two. The show is also making rigsby look suspicious. There is a good reason why many thought he was rj. He has been so out of character lately . Re watch that usb scene with them in bertrams secret storage . Weird dynamic going on. It felt like it went like this :"hey cho your buying into our plan to make bertram look like red john right" . Rigsby wasnt asking van pelt he was staring at cho as he addressed them both

Season 6 episode 13:
Patrick jane returns to work for the fbi after Abbot pleads with him to do so. Abbot discovers another suspect in the tiger tiger scandal that left a few loose ends. This has something to do with the usb drive found.
Patrick learns thru the code that there was a person that macalister did most his business with and had many phone calls too. Jane searches the clues to and tells his team that he has found something. This spurs an interest in van pelt and rigsby as they seemed very worry some about the whole ordeal and are eager to help.
Jane lies and tells the team that a man he met thru the usb info has red john info. Jane than watches this man untill rigsby shows up to kill him
Rigsby tries to think of a reason why hes there and jane calls him red john. This forces rigsby into his true voice and then van pelt comes out with a gun. Pointed at patrick. She craves bad boys . Daddy issues for sure . Jane thinks its his end when cho comes out and shoots van pelt and rigsby both.

Also, this profiler business has me thinking. Basing the entire show on another show? Not very original. However, copying a whole show in one episode as a red herring. Possible. Perhaps. As Lenny Kravitz sings...

I'm really enjoying these 'symmetry' theories about RJ turning Jane into a killer. Maybe they are red john's rules. Kill the guilty or RJ will kill another innocent. Seems like the kind of game that would befit the twisted sense of play given previous interactions.
Maybe the concussion bomb knocked PJ out and he was gathering clues in dreamland. Also, does anyone else find it strange that 2 regulars, well liked are being out out to pasture in a PI business. They must play a far bigger role before exiting, or it's just another 'whimper' ending to more great characters.
