It is over, deal with it.

Red john is not coming back for many season.

1. http://www.spoilertv.com/2011/05/mentalist-season-3-finale-bruno-heller.html this is the interview that was done following season 3 finale, where Jane kills the fake Red John. In the interview Heller bets around the bush indicating whether Rd John is dead or not.

2. The latest interview with Baker and Heller http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/live-feed/mentalist-red-johns-fate-revealed-659592 and another one but cannot find the link; he specifically outlines that there is no going back. He rules it out completely. And elaborates on the new direction of the show.

3. Look at the new promo, it is obivious they  are not going back to Red John.

4. All the new names of the episodes do not have red in them. This is a clear direction of the new direction of the show.

5. On the mentalist Facebook page they are posting pictures of the new show.

We were always going to be dissapointed in the end of Red John. We built him up so much nothing was going to satisfied

I know everyone is annoyed with so much unanswered questions. If you all got what you wanted and answer all these questions it would take the entire series! You could explain it all at once in one episode, however, it wouldn;t be natural and in the flow of the show. It would just be jane standing up saying want to know how I did it? That is silly. If you wanted it to come up naturally and with the flow of the show it would take forever!!! And most normal viewers would hate it. I would actually love a sort of Red John Spin off to explain him, however, it would only work as a spin off.

It is over, I don't know what it will take for you guys to realise.

Robert Kirkland: Help me how? (with an ironic smile on his face)
Reede Smith: Blah blah blah blah
Robert Kirkland: I don't believe you.
Reede Smith: Common Bob get out of the van.Start running.
Robert Kirkland: Just do it here. (He knows he gonna die, still so fearless, so calm, somehow sure that Jane will keep his words and "finish the thing".He isn't afraid of death, not a second.Still so smart, determined, creepy, elegant, strong, completed character. Also great actor, and he has a twin brother?!)

Thomas McAlister: He played in 3 episodes in all the 6 seasons. The scenario is an identical copy of 'Profiler". Not the look that Red John should have to attract women and manipulate them. Brought down by a pigeon(!?),'Please don't kill me aaahh' then he calls 911.Great actor, don't get me wrong but WHY?

You see the irony here.

Ok instead of hitting not plausible can u please just answer my questions !?
Biggest clue red john is alive and well:

The girl that with her dying moments showed patrick the tattoo her killer had. 3 dots insinuating tiger tiger .
Ok, how on earth did she see the tattoo? No way her killer was wearing a tank top! She must of seen it before ? Maybe on an intimate level or at the gym . Macalister could of been with her intimately since he was a "deranged sex freak ". But i dont buy that.
I dont know what this means but maybe she was a rj follower . Or with visualize. I have no idea why she would lead patrick astray but how the hell did she see the tattoo of her assailant ?

****1. Maybe red john sent a person purposively showing a fake tt tattoo. Thus leading jane to take out macalister and the rest.
Maybe macalister was red john in a way. He could of assumed the role if rj with partridge in copycat fashion to mess with jane and other cops . Maybe the real red john like partridge said "hasnt killed in years"
Maybe hes waiting . Sitting back as patrick becomes a psycho killer lol
I really hope there is more . This show always has a rj finale or start in the first half and ends with another rj story later on .

This will either end up being the best show with the best twist ever or it will end up with the sheriff really being RJ...yeah right...

Guys,

There is nothing to be explained in the RJ episode because is not the end of RJ and the Sheriff is not RJ.

Yes Heller said...than Baker said, than Partridges grandmother said...i understand that, but i dont believe it....not a word....neither from Heller, neither from Baker....neither from anyone...

Since the show is called The mentalist and most of the show was about all sorts of misleading s and very good acting and very good mental games from PJ.

Do you people really believe that after 5 seasons they will give us this as an end?

I have my believes, and i know they said that PJ is not RJ (but how to trust them a word after this episode).

I wouldnt be surprised if in the next few episodes we discover that the sheriff was dead from the blast indeed and that entire episode was going on in PJ s head....or if the police comes to the murder scene of the sheriff and they find some totally different person that PJ killed in believe he is the sheriff and RJ....that would explain why PJ is gone for two years from the murder of "RJ" i mean why is he running away from everybody.

The gun under the bench and the pigeon coming from the jacket, the silly death of "RJ" and pleading for life, feeling sorry for killing PJ s family? No. Something is very wrong here. PJ was not afraid of dying and was not pleading for his life so that means he is colder blooded from RJ?

What if they only find Bertrams body and the other guys body? What if anything from the part where Bertram was shot was just going on in PJ s head LIKE THE TIME HE DRANK THAT TEA and had hallucinations? If you dont remember in that episode PJ grabbed a rabbit from the pot and those figurines were people and the whole episode was like he was in wonderland . It is a silly and unexplained ending...and i dont think it will stay that way

"It’s always a difficult dance to balance those two things.  It got to a
point where some people were like, “We really love the show.  We really
love the Red John episodes, and then we love the stand-alone episodes
that don’t pertain to Red John, at all.  Is there a way that we can deal
with one completely, and then move forward from there?”  To be honest
with you, those decisions are not for me to make."

What Heller is really saying is that Red John was nothing more than a plot device that attracted some viewers that normally would not be in for the murder of the of week drama. In other words, the clues did not matter when when it came to RED JOHN and to lesser degree did not matter to the murder of the week drama. The true fan base is with Baker and the supporting cast and the witty nature of the show. Since Jane was trap and unable to develop during his pursiut of the Red John many fns lost interest with the murder of the week and the lesser fan base became obsessed with Red John. The solution was to reboot the show only keeping what was essential. Lisbon and Jane. We will make the rest of the shit up as we go assuming we still have a fan base after we fucked it all up.

There are still 14 episodes for the season's over, I honestly do not think The Mentalist will survive without Red John, so I guess somehow is not over.

I'm sorry guys... but my dissapointment can't stop to grow and grow.
Did you already read this crap?
http://collider.com/simon-baker-bruno-heller-the-mentalist-interview/

..and look this part:
Simon, when you got the list of the final seven suspects, did you have your own theories about which one was Red John?

BAKER:  No.

HELLER:  He was holding out for Jesus or Elvis.

BAKER:  I was hoping that Quentin Tarantino would show up on that list.  No, I didn’t have any theories, at all.  Actually, I made a point to not read too far ahead with the first six or seven episodes.  I would read the outlines, but I didn’t really want to read scripts too far in advance because I didn’t really want to get ahead of myself, at all.  To be honest, I don’t have the time to come up with theories.

What??? "I don’t have the time to come up with theories. ".

Yeah. I just can say one thing: We're all idiots wasting time with this shit. I can't believe I lost more than 5 years with that. They really seem not care about us..at all.

So frustrating...I can't explain.
