LATEST THEORIES

I've just finished watching the S05EP13, "The Red Barn" and I got pissed off.

In the last scene of the episode we see Lisbon and Jane at his "place" in CBI, talking about the list of possible Red John suspects. He says that from the 2100+ people he has shaken hands with after his wife and daughter were killed the 800+ are women and RJ is probably a man. Then he says that from the 1300 remaining names the 100+ are excluded because he only met them or talked to them a little and never saw them again ever after.

So, why the hell McAllister is in the list at the first place?
God.Heller is playing us.

I think next Sunday's episode will be crucial for the ratings..Tonight probably a lot of people will still watch it, because either they are hoping there will be some more explanation about Red John, or they just want to see how Patrick is getting on after 2 years.

Tonight's episode is the test to see if the writers have any kind of talent and intelligence to keep the audience. I hope they are not stupid and do something very exciting that will make us want to tune in after the disaster episode. Somehow, I wouldn't bet on it though..

All I can say is that the tatoo (the three points) makes me think of "To be continued"...
It is not the end.

I think that Bruno Heller is kidding with us with this ending of Red John saga, come on he was director of Rome one of the best series ever, he is not so stupid to make so complex story of Red John and not to choose who it is from start instead choose him after 5 seasons, maybe he is doing it to get attention,i think that McAllister is just another puppet of REAL Red John, and that this story of Red John is far from end, in Bruno Heller we trust!

Another big steal from Dexter and a follow up to:

The (in)famous smiley face is also from from Dexter.  In Mentalist, it is in red, and only slightly differently.

A lo of people have noted how the ending is copied from Profiler.  If you watch  Dexter, you will see even more examples of copying.  There are so many, it is ridiculous.  For example, in one of the last episodes, you hear, "There is a storm coming your way".  Mentalist copies that by changing it to "There is a comeuppance coming your way."  The last season in Dexter, an old lady doctor is introduced who paves the way to the season finale.  In Mentalist, Lorelai is introduced, who plays a critical role for PJ to come up with his list.  And so on and so on.

So, what does that say about Heller as a writer?  A second-grade copy-cat?  Is it even possible that the season was rushed because he had no other show to steal ideas from?  I think it seems pathetic.

One more thought:

Maybe Bruno Haha Heller, did the shitty "Sherrif is RJ" episode, to loosen the hype on RJ we all have been making for these years.

Besides, it is possible that Sherrif isn't real RJ, and was being pussy because he was "forced" to be fake RJ, and just didn't predict that Jane will beat him, just like with rock, paper, scisscors game. He couldn't have told Patrick that he is not RJ, because even if Patrick would spare him, real RJ would gutted him anyway.

Conclusion: Bruno "left" the opportunity that someone else (probably Partridge) is RJ, but for now, to bring the tension down he did another red herring.

It doesn't change the fact that its weak to copy "The Profiler".
