Robert Kirkland is so Red John. All of the descriptions of RJ fit him perfectly. Also we know that RJ has "a friend in the FBI" and on the first episode with Kirkland a female FBI agent, whose name escapes me, said " it's nice to have a friend in the FBI, don't you agree Robert?" I cannot be the only one who thinks this.
I think it's not possible that Jane and Red John are the same people. First, Jane is shaking hand with Red John. And I don't believe that Jane was joined hand with himself. Also, Lorelei known Red John and when we see her behavious with Jane, Jane can't be Red John.
I think it's Bertram, and Kirkland is his friend... But I think it would be too easy...
I personally think that Red John is somebody that we know, maybe in the background a lot or a regular? I don't think that the writers have fully worked it out yet, they probably have a list of people that it could be, and are just trying to work it out. It can't be Jane, that would just be annoying if it was and I would hope that Lisbon isn't a partner of Red John although would be a good storyline if she was. :)
please stop with accusing JANE! he is not RJ there is way too much evidence pointing towards other people! and it isn't virgil minelli, whoever RJ is, (if he even works in the CBI which i doubt) has been working there since JAne. the only reason he would be in CBI is to keep an eye on Jane. before Jane there wouldn't be any need to. jesus.
I think its Dr Royston Daniel from Season 1 Episode 18. I think its possible he has never actually killed anyone himself but has built up a network of 'agents' through his hypnosis skills thereby providing himself with the perfect alibi.
I also think the whole 'Visualize' thing is just an enormous red herring (pun intended).
The episode where he appears is quite clever in that it makes him seem weak - he becomes the victim (in our eyes) and is nearly murdered until Patrick Jane saves him but I think that was all an elaborate ruse to get close to the CBI team - I think someone on the team was hypnotized and has been feeding RJ information - probably Van Pelt.
I believe that bp is Red John because he was at the fake red John murders and has a rapid disliking of Patrick Jane also what red John says s2 last ep if there's 1 thing I can't tolerate is the relentless copying of my work how could he know about that if he wasn't red John
