LATEST THEORIES

Hi guys. First of all,  I dont think that Mac Allister is RJ. Its too easy to think that. I dont know who is RJ.

Lets introduce my theory: THE SYMMETRY

First: I judge impossible the fact that Heller shows us RJ before the break and in the middle of the season. Red John's death deserves a FINAL EPISODE.

To return about RJ: I think that RJ is too smart and has a head start all the time compared to PJ. Until now RJ has always manipulate PJ and he shows that its not a simple guy who like to kill, he's a genius and a great player.

Let me ask you juste one question: Why Red John could not manipulate Mac Allister like he did with Timothy Carter ?
I think he did also with the sheriff, WHY ???
Because day by day , bit by bit he forced Patrick Jane to kill people. He makes Patrick Jane a Serial Killer ALSO and makes him definitely RED JOHN'S SYMMETRY.
Patrick Jane started to be the reflection on Red John's mirror. Lorelei said it: RJ AND PJ are very ressembling.

Thats the SYMMETRY mentionned in Blake's poem.

I'm going to answer some questions that some people may have if I was in the shoes of Bruno Heller. If you do enjoy reading this, please click green. Hopefully this will clear up some of the questions people have been asking on this site and maybe it will cut down on the spam as well.

"There is no way that he could have been Red John, the pieces don't fit!!!"
Yes, I do agree with you. The pieces don't fit and if I do remember correctly, Heller said that a person who had watched the show thoroughly would be able to figure out who Red John is, that is not the case. However, lets think about it in Bruno Heller's shoes. He has had this TV Show going for 6 Seasons and has managed to keep the Red John story going. In my opinion, of course the ending was going to be bad, he kept it going for too long. I was happy with the season 3 ending.

"So Jane has killed Red John! What now?"
I like to think that Red John was more of a bonus to the show. I liked seeing Jane's shenanigans and crazy methods or solving crimes. However, the Red John episodes were very intriguing and constantly always left loose ends or a cliffhanger at the end of the episode. This actually irritated me a bit as I would have liked to have see Jane kill Red John 3 seasons ago rather than Bruno Heller doing the same thing over and over and repeating the same thing that happened in the last episode. An example of this would be, "Person has information on RJ. Dies at the end of episode and Jane gets no information."

"What about all the unanswered questions?"
I would totally agree with you and don't have a in-depth answer to this one. I genuinely have no clue as to why Bruno Heller would leave these sort of important questions unanswered. He could however be saving all of the answers until the very last episode.

In conclusion, these are just some of the 'frequently asked' questions. There is also a lot of controversy in who preferred previous season endings and would have preferred them be the last episode. People have also written their own scripts for the episode where Jane meets Red John face to face and I do have to say that some of them are incredibly impressive. I actually think to myself "Why couldn't Bruno Heller have used that script instead of using the one that he did!"
In my own personal opinion the ending I would have preferred was the one below.

I also would have loved it if the very last scene of the show was Jane laying down in his bed with the Smiley face above it like this and it just slowly zooms in on it.

This ending would have made the TV series for me. Obviously with some tinkering so that RJ reveals himself.

Everyone calm down.

Red John isn't necessarily dead. Not only was McAllister's personality and persona all wrong, but there WAS a serious clue at the scene of Partridges death.

I'll let people clue it together. Why did Jane use a pigeon? Then add apply your answer to the one defining feature of the house Partridge was in.

Of course, if the show's ratings boost back up on this new type story, the writers will just throw that open end away and he will be dead.

And don't tell me you watch for Red John. He's just a bonus. We all watch for the fantastic character that is Jane and his interactions with any and all the other characters.

Wait a second, about a month ago people kept mentioning an interview where Bruno Heller said that Partridge's death was important to the story. There is a reason why he died there and an important clue to RJ's identity could be seen in that scene.

Am I missing something here? What was so important about his death? Just the fact that he was part of the Blake association? Or the fact that RJ used Partridge's access level to get corpses and DNA? Because none of those things explain why he needed to be dead, if he was part of the Blake association he could just provide those things as a favor to a fellow tiger tiger.

And what was the big clue? Pigeons? Wtf that's no clue that would like to Mcallister since we had no way of knowing back then that he was scared of tiny dinosaurs.

I would appreciate if someone could clear those 2 things for me because Im definitely missing why Bruno Heller said that there was a reason why Partridge needed to die at that moment and what was the big clue in that scene that led to RJ's identity.

Why is everyone being so hostile! This website is for Fans of the mentalist who want to talk about what happend in the show as well as the identity of red john. Why is some people getting mad at peoples ideas ? Imagination people its a wonderful thing .
And if you think for one second that this show is not getting us ready for a huge twist that will blow our minds than you haven't watched this series . Have a little faith.
Do you really believe that this will be the ONLY season to bot have a great surprise ending ? Its illogical to think so based off prior seasons.
My point, calm the hell down. Smile. This website is still up because the show is still on.
Let people use theirs minds and them use yours.
