So long, the Mentalist!

Anyone hoping for the show to get back to its earlier quality is now in utter disappointment.  Episodes 9 and 10 made sure of that.  It was like watching snails move.  Any decent writer could bring PJ back to working with FBI in under 30 minutes.  They spent two awfully slow hours to accomplish that.  I won't be surprised if they waste the next show with drama around PJ refusing a few couches they get for him untll he chooses one with a pigeon design.

Producers know that too.  That is why have been paying sites like spoiler-tv for glowing reviews.  And Mentalist has been in the main news page of Yahoo every other day now with made-up, slightly different articles just to keep attention going on:  Look PJ got his man, look he is vacationing, look at his tan, look he is now a pigeon farmer, etc.

It is just not fun to watch anymore.  It is quite worse than a dozen other similar shows now.  Take, for instance, the murder plot in the last episode.  PJ solves it by noting that the mounds of
fertilizer were not needed because of the season.  Well, it turns out,
it was not the guy who got fertilizer there in the first place.  Again, major plot hole.

So, no more watching this show anymore.

I just saw episode 2 of this season and, although knowing that sheriff McAllister was revealed as Red John, I still think it’s Partridge and that his death in the season premiere is a ruse.

It’s like the plot of the book “And Then There Were None” where all
of the suspects supposedly died, only to have one of them turn out to be
the killer, after they staged their own death.
Bruno Heller has stated that “[i]t was very important that Partridge
die at this point in the story.” And I think that is so that he would no
longer be a suspect.

The way Partridge died, also does not seem in keeping with a Red John
murder. He was found in a closet? No red smiley face to strike terror
into the person that finds him before the body is discovered? That’s his
classic M.O. and this doesn’t resonate with that.

Also Partridge is
partially alive when Lisbon finds him. Alive enough to quote William
Blake. When is the last time Red John left someone half-dead?
I think Partridge is Red John, and is working with someone (McAllister), who
helped him stage his own death to cast off suspicion. Bruno Heller
stated of the final scene of episode 1 that “embedded in that scene is a
big clue to the identity of Red John that will pay off big time later.”
If you watch closely.

The person who Jane is talking to is different
from the person holding the phone, indicating that there are two people
there.

The person who paints the smiley face on Lisbon is not the real
Red John. First, he paints it on her face (huh?), Second, he uses only
two fingers instead of three (which both Jane and Partridge would know),
finally, he paints the smiley face counter clockwise, not clockwise
like in other Red John murders. That is the clue that I think Heller
wants to give, but he distracts us with the red herring of the bloody
blade.
One other clue which may or may not be relevant is the title of the
next episode Black Winged Red Bird which refers to a Scarlet Tanager.
The Scarlet Tanager is a poem written by James Russell Lowell, a
romantic poet like William Blake who wrote “The Tyger” which Red John
often quotes as well as painted “A Brace of Partridge.”

Far from casting off my suspicion, Partridges apparent death only
seals it more for me that he’s Red John. Bruno Heller also said that we
would be disappointed when we found out who Red John was, and most
people would probably be disappointed if big bad Red John turned out to
be Fangoria watching Brett Partridge. lol

What happened to CBI Ron? Since they paid the actor to just chill in the background for 5.5 seasons, why not just bring him back as the FBI Ron?

TO THOSE WHO ARE TRYING TO WORK OUT BERTRAM's CODED LIST: I've finally decoded the message!

Here is what it says:

"Dear overly attached Mentalist fans,

I see you've been spending your time trying to figure out what this coded list means. Bravo. That's quite a feat of research. You think you're clever, but you're not. I'll show you clever.

This list is another random clue I gave away for no reason, just like every other RJ clue I gave you for five years. They all lead nowhere, get over it.
I don't care about the clues I give you, they're just meant to keep you watching my series so I make a lot of money. If I did care about the clues, you wouldn't be theorizing about how RJ isn't dead because the whole storyline doesn't make sense.

I've changed the rules now. I've made this storyline so bad that you think it can't be the real one. I'm going to start fucking up my series again. Often. Until you throw up... Or I do.

B. Heller"

For Xah
I don't need attention, just want to share some decoding staff. my results at the moment:
- something easy, there are 25 different characters (one less than letters on alphabet)
-
there are easy simetries on the code ( big ones on the two columns, and
the first and the second 8th lines) and another little texts
repeatings, all the pieces (smaller and bigger) are two, three or four
times.
-in my opinion is not a list, it seems more like hide message, or just one hide name.
-like
someone said, it's only a part of the code (in the screen on VanPelt's
laptop you can see the scroll bar....) and there is a chance that not
possible to solve with all the code.... but why show us this part so
clearly??

So anyone wants to join my investigation, please contact my email, and I send you the Ms Word File with the code, and a screenshot with the simetries...
