LATEST THEORIES

The theory by Supersonic90 is most probably correct. The fact that the show has moved on so fast from RJ and not even one mention of any of the past characters has been made is very suspicious. RJ may be dead but it probably isn't Mcallister. Maybe after Jane killed him the real RJ approached Patrick or Patrick caught him offguard when he thought Patrick wasn't looking for him anymore. The main question is,when is the show going to mention these stuff? The promo for the next episode looked so bad i doubt anything interesting is in there. How many episodes are there in S06?

When Bruno said we would all be disappointed with the rj reveal I thought he meant it would be partridge since most of us were expecting that, not that it would be mccalister, I think Bruno just wanted to shock us the most and in that regard it was a twist, as stupid as it was we should be glad he didn't end it in a even more ridiculous way, I mean he could have picked Lisbon or Rigsby. So let's all just be thankful it wasn't one of them, and hope that Bruno might give us another rj plot line.

Perhaps something like this is what Bruno Heller has in store for us during the rest of the season. Patrick is near death while lying on the floor of a room after months of decline in his mental and physical health.  Lisbon is broken down and crying.  A dozen people he has known for years are standing around very concerrned for him, but they know there is nothing they can do to help.  They lament how much they are going to miss him and isn't it a shame, etc., etc.   Just as the ambulance crew is rolling Patrick away on a gurney, he bolts up and slashes the neck of one of his attendants with a razor he had hidden.  To the astonishment of everyone present, Patrick has been playing possum. Because Patrick is clearly mentally competent, he is charged with murder.  During his trial over the course of three episodes, he presents witnesses who testify to apparently unrelated facts which tie many of the clues from previous episodes together.  On the final episode, Lisbon takes the stand and testifies to some seeming insignificant fact which makes everyone realize that Patrick's victim was Red John. Patrick is nonetheless convicted and sent to prison, a happy man.  Lisbon becomes a reculsive beekeeper.

Yesterday I read something here that made me think... what if the moment when Jane finally discovers who Red John is hasn't been shown to us yet? I mean, he did killed McAllister and this is mentioned by agent Fischer when she talks to Lisbon, but nobody ever really states that this man was indeed Red John, she only says "he stopped the 10-year reign of a mass murderer".

What I'm saying is, Jane kills McAllister, we jump two years forward. We don't really know what happened in that time, maybe killing McAllister was part of Jane's plan to catch Red John, and we will get to see his entire plan and the real Red John in the series finale.

That would be a hell of a trick Bruno Heller put on us. So he would be telling the truth when he says Red John is dead, because he is dead in this moment of the show, two years later, but that doesn't mean he has shown it to us.

Hell, maybe I just refuse to believe that McAllister was Red John, I still believe that there's something better waiting for us, and yes, I'm still part of that crazy group of people who think Partridge is Red John (yeah I know, we're a hopeless case!), and would love to keep sharing theories. Anyway, sorry for my english and thank you for taking the time to read!

Guys, Hi.

The Mentalist show have had dramatic twist towards carelessness towards its viewers.

We watched this show for years, we loved it, we expected super mental level from Bruno Heller, but he showed himself as incompetent.
He couldn't link the clues he made himself, he ignored Rosalinda's description, Fyres.
The so called Psychic Sean Barlow said that Red John has real powers...We heard that a lot.

Guys, people devote their life, sacrifice themselves ect only for spiritual reasons.

This only Bret Stiles has. He draw a face with blood in the Ceremony...

McAllister should have killed everyone (including Patrick) with the bomb except Bertram.  Then his plan of everyone thinking Bertram was Red John would have worked better.  Patrick had no idea about the bomb plan, he was just lucky McAllister saved his life (for the THIRD TIME I might add).  Bertram would have no idea that McAllister did it because he didn't know he was Red John.  Plus he would think sheriff was dead because of the fake body.  Bertram's best defense would be "I didn't do it, Red John must have planted a bomb."  But who would believe that story since he would be the sole survivor.  Bottom line, for a serial killer, I find it funny that Red John spared 3 (Jane, Smith, Bertram) and killed 2 (Haffner, Stiles) that night.  He should have just killed everyone or left Bertram alive to frame him as RJ.
