'Now look closely this is important, do you recognise me?'

Was Jason Lennon hypnotised years ago to protect red johns identity? And the tap on Patrick's shoulder at the end of that scene, Kirkland has got to be massively involved now.

At loreleis death scene he turns away and smirks as Patrick sees the damage done.

He threatens Lisbon when she starts her investigation into volker, which still hasn't been explained yet, Patrick kind of recognised his voice after he had crashed to help lorelei escape a few episodes ago.

When Patrick and Robert 'first meet' its almost a relief for Kirkland when Patrick says 'do I know you?'

I used to hate the idea of him being red John and I may still be proven wrong but the evidence is piling up now, it's hard to argue against, the only other explanation is that he is red johns right hand man.

Just consider this, whoever RJ actually is they have to have very set characteristics. You all remember the blind woman who had a relationship with Roy? That seems to implicate that he has a way with women if he can manipulate a blind woman into liking him...for me that eliminates the dude from the pilot who everybody wants to accuse because that guy is socially awkward. Also, RJ likes Patrick, is it too wrong to assume that Patrick wouldn't like RJ himself? I don't think so. Patrick and Mashburn got along pretty well the first time they met (and just a little sidenote, the fact that mashburn slept with lisbon opens up an avenue of possibilities if this is the case). At first, it was too obvious that Kirkland had something to do with RJ from his first scene on the show but it's hard to actually picture him as RJ. Oh and this should eliminate the theory about the dude from the pilot...Patrick never shook his hand.

After watching last nights episode. I believe Rob is Red John.

I think Red John has hypnotized Jane to forget him, I think he met Red John/Rob on the carnival.

Think about it?

When Lorelei was murdered who was there? Rob. She was murdered in a place full of carnival things. Hello people.

Then when he first met Rob at the CBI Patrick says "Do I know you?"

If you watch the clip from 4x23 or 24 when Jane is in the limo with Lorelei listen to the voice especially when he calls him Patrick and so does Rob they sound very similar.

Going on the conversation Rob has with Jason he could very well be Red John, however when he gave that drug he wore no gloves so the finger prints would be on the drip right?

Also, when he said to Jason "Good, your mind is clear." this is something a hypnotist would say.

Secondly when Jane arrives, and he asks him what happened. After he says "He said nothing." he taps Patrick and the arm and walks away, Jane turns and looks on as if something is triggered.

Yes Rob is very much a suspect now.

she is the closest person near patrick so she knows all his moves..she was near all suspects who died about red john and she is the less suspect.Red  john could kill her and hurt Patrick feelings for real but never happened .

Remember in the episode when Red John is on the phone in the limo with Jane, he says luckily I have a friend in the FBI so I found out when they found out
Kirkland is that friend, NOT Red John himself
This can easily shoot down any other theories that say Kirkland is
