So, about the Jane/ RJ scenes where he appears or talks on the phone with PJ...great explanation how, based on the movie My bloody Valentine starring Ackles....im waching it for the 2 time carefully just to point out here things that are maybe happeining in The Mentalist....Ok so this movie is a horror....an it has too much blood and extreme situations unlike the Mentalist wich is something different, i get it.
For ones who didnt watch the movie...In a small town cave-in on the north side of a Hanninger mine trapped six miners. Six days later, rescue teams found five dead miners and the comatose Harry Warden , who survived by killing the other miners with a pickaxe, allowing himself to breathe. Tom Hanniger, the mine owner's son, was blamed for the mine disaster because he forgot to vent the methane lines, but also Harry Warden for killing the miners.
This part below i would refer to the Mentalist also. The part bolded is here because i would like to show you that both of characters Tom and PJ were blamed for something. PJ was a prime suspect for killing his family and Tom was for the reason he led to the death of those people. To them both that must have some inner emotions established. Also to notice, Jane was the one in the mental hospital for some period, that also "marked him".
A year later, Valentine's Day, Warden wakes from his coma in the hospital, and goes on a murderous rampage.
Yes, Warden woke up and indeed killed half of the hospital, and by that time Tom (Ackles) was not the one killing, like in the Mentalist....my theory was that maybe Carter was RJ that killed PJ s family and than PJ had a breakdown when he killed Carter...just like Tom in the movie when was almost killed by Warden but saved by the police wich you will read under in the text....
Meanwhile, at the abandoned mineshaft that was the site of the disaster, a party is in full swing, attended by many teens, including Axel Palmer , his girlfriend, Irene , Tom Hanniger (Jensen Ackles), and his girlfriend, Sarah,. Tom was initially relucant to go to the mine party, but he goes anyway. He leaves Sarah and goes back to his car to pick up some beers before departing inside.
That was still warden killing.....
Sarah goes in alone and gets lost looking for Axel and Irene. She runs across a teen and a few seconds later he is stabbed through his eye. She is confronted by Warden in full miner's garb, carrying a bloody pickaxe, and she flees, finding several dead bodies. Axel grabs her and they, along with Irene, hide from the killer. Warden eventually sees the trio, and they run out of the mine, meeting Tom as he comes in. The killer hits Tom with the pickaxe, injuring him, while the other three run for the car. Tom spots them but Axel escapes with Sarah and Irene, abandoning Tom. Tom runs back into the mine in an attempt to escape Warden.
Before Tom can be killed, the police arrive and shoot Warden, who makes his getaway back into the mine. Tom also appears shocked by the events. Ten years later, Tom's father, from whom Tom has been estranged, dies and Tom inherits the mine. Tom returns to town after his father's funeral to sell the mine, having vanished since the incident and it was unknown where he was....
..... SKIPPED A PART OF THE PLOT WITH NO IMPORTANCE...
NOW THE INTERESTING PART....Tom is visiting his newly inherited mine. In the mine, Warden appears and forces Tom into a chain-link chamber and bends the metal latch on the door, making Tom unable to escape. Warden then murders William "Red" Kirkpatrick the miner who was accompanying Tom. Before the rest of the mining crew arrive, Warden flees, and suspicion falls on Tom, despite the fact that he was locked in a cage the entire time. Now this part is the part where Warden is long dead but still hunts down people wearing a mask so that we dont see the face he is hiding...Toms face...JUST LIKE RJ.
So you can see Tom being hit by Warden, you can see them looking each other face to...well not face but mask....you would say to yourself that is Warden indeed, he survived and now came back to kill the group one by one....and you can see "Warden" trap Tom in something similar to a cage and than go and kill the rest of the miners but....that is not true....it is very well made by the producers...Tom wich was the killer people assumed as it was Warden with the mask first killed the workers and then he trapped himself in the whatever that was...cage.
That would explain PJ tied to a chair.....he was kidnapped? Yes. Tied to a chair? Yes. But by who? Did he first kill those kids and tied himself up? Maybe.....remember, he was working in a circus...tying up himself was a piece of cake and releasing himself also...
And the phonecalls in fron of Lisbon? Imagination combined with crazyness.
The disciples talking to Patrick as he is not RJ? Well....honestly, every disciple that knew who was RJ had something crazy in his character so i wpuldnt be surprised if for example Lorelei wanted to chop the finger of PJ...i mean, those people die for him....
And yes, those unexplainable parts where we see PJ and RJ at the same time....those are the moments where the BA took their part and copied RJ or something.
If it ends up something different, thats ok.....this was just my idea of things....it was fun to write this anyway....:)
Hope our theories will come true....well atleast the ones where its not the end of RJ :)
