If you want to see red john watch episode 7 from season 1. "Seeing Red" is the title.

The episode is about a rich wife of en ex Lieutenant Governor who is murdered. The whole time you believe the son is guilty but in the end it was the sister. The male is always the first accused and the cop on the scene said he was 90% sure it was the boy. Lisbon said "what about the other 10%?" Reminded me of the current red john situation. About 10 percent of hope that he/she is alive .

Kristina freye is introduced and is frigid as they come. She is not a psychic. She knew everything about that murder because she set it up. She made the daughter kill her own mother. I dont know how but she is good. Freye is always controlling everything whenever we see her in this show. Putting herself in investigations that suit her fancy. And people believe her ! She mocks jane and stood up for red john on the topic of janes murdered family!

Back to the ep: My girl GVP is livid the whole episode. She becomes enamored by frye and sticking up for her like they were sisters. She just met the lady and even talked back to lisbon to stick up for freye .

GVP gets mad at Jane for "disrespecting the occult". Those two really did not get along in season 1. A lot of heated arguments between the two of them over ghost and heaven. It was really a big underlining theme in the show back then.

The episode ends with Kristina telling Patrick that she spoke to his wife. And that his daughter didn't suffer and was asleep the whole time ..
There are no real psychics on this show. Patrick is right to not believe in it and the Barlow family can go f themselves..
She did not speak to his wife . She wanted to make him cry. And ironically Grace sees jane crying gives a cold look and shuts the door.
It was the perfect end to the episodes theme of frye +GVP vs. Jane.
7 is a magic number . Episode 7 was quite magically in that i realized that Kristina Freye is a FRAUD just like Ellis Mars but she is a lot more dangerous because she is good at faking it . Jane said "the good ones are the most dangerous".

I am surprised that you guys still have faith in Heller. They got tired of RJ and made the worst final. That's it. Red John was McAllister and he's dead. All suspects are dead. I wish Red John were alive, but he's gone. Now we just have a comedy. The Mentalist is over, now it's Patrick's show.

Looking back, I can tell that Ray Haffner was by far the most capable suspect of being Red John.From his very first moments on the show he appeared to observe Jane and how he works, he was friendly and helpful.Then it comes the interest for Lisbon which is more than obvious.Haffner sees Jane as a rival at this point.In addition Haffner is the only one of the 7 suspects who has links on both BA and Visualize.He is handsome, seductive and he seems to have a dark persona in the background.He was at the barn 25 years ago.Lisbon doesn't get killed by Red John, and the only possible explanation is that he has a crush on her.He fits the age, the body type and the personality. Also, for those who say that Rj is McAllister and he didn't kill Lisbon because of the pigeons, remember that at the barn, the smiley was painted on the outside.For what reason?Red John could have painted it inside.My guess?Haffner fears spiders, and in this room there could be a lot of them.So, he was afraid to finish his work and get out to do so.In addition, to answer on the previous theory over Haffner, we can assume by the way McAllister acts at the church that he was hypnotized to believe that he is RJ.

Still, there are a lot of things that puzzle me and kinda cancel this theory:
Haffner seems to be naive.Observe how easily Jane tricks him with the little book.And how easily Lisbon understands that he is a member of Visualize.Of course those could be done on purpose, but that is hard to tell.

Red John spares Lisbon at the end of the first episode of the 6th season. But he doesn't just let her go, he puts his mark on her. It's as though he is marking his territory. He is sending Jane a message that she is his.
We all know which one of the seven suspects like Lisbon. Ray Haffner. He had previously proposed lisbon a job offer and when Lisbon rejected it in the name of work, he was quite irritated and accused her of liking Jane. Clearly, he has a crush on her.
In the second episode of 6th season, he visits her and while leaving says
"I like you terasa, I really do . And one of these days, you and me, will have our time."
And in the episode where he warns Lisbon and Van pelt, he was definitely warning them about the BA and did not think telling them to back off before Red John gets them was necessary. Red John doesn't like the BA as he killed Brett Partridge. There is absolutely no reason for Red John to be a member of BA. Sure, he could control them and get what he want done (cleaning his mess). IHim being a member of BA just doesn't seem right.
But of course, if we take Ray haffner as the Red John, some things still don't make sense. Like why would McAllister tell jane that he was Red John?Did Red John blackmail him? I don't see Red John telling McAllister " If you don't get killed by Jane, I will kill you" .
But, well, Ray Haffner still makes more sense than McAllister.

Ok.
So as many millions of people i was very dissapointed with the red john ending. I have still watched the show of course it does not fell the same and it has horrible jokes and music. But with the ending of golden hammer it looks interesting. Why such a long break i believe after the red john episode they had no idea were to take the story i you can tell that from after the episode blue sky. Now i like the ending of golden hammer i hope heller redeems himself and shows us 1 if mc callister was really red john or the ultimate red herring #2 from the cut patterns on oscar it does in fact look like a red john murder. Why no happy face i believe it could of been mc callisters own mark but what i think is the red barn was a red harring that happy face maybe was put on to throw people off. No i am not one of those people who are holding on to a shred of hope lol that red john is still alive. Either it was horrible acting by xander which i doubt or terrible writting but i can not see red john as mcallister he acted like such a big pussy. Red john in my eyes would be someone who does not fear death or who would be a little stronger he took down Renfro and he was pretty big and strong. I just hope they give me a good season 6 because if not i will not be a season 7 watcher of they take it that far. I have been on this website for awhile people who make comments on here had a better ending than the actual creator heller. Redeem your self heller you have 9 episodes to do that
