I just noticed something when i re-watched S 5.13 this morning. I can't help but be reminded of Jane everytime i see the signature RJ smiley face. The way the eyes are drawn and the smile itself. Reminds me of Jane's smile but what really stands out to me is the 'tears' that seem to fall from its eyes. We all know Jane is deeply tormented and feels immense guilt about his past so he puts a facade. I don't know if the writers/creator deliberately chose this design to reflect Jane and RJ in one another or if it has a deeper involvement into the plot or if it's mere coincidence, i just thought it worth pointing out. I still can't believe the sheriff was RJ.

How the hell did GVP get that lead about the warehouse? It was her right?
Seems like she always is a the catalysist for drama like this. Red john "hacked" her computer a few times...

Holy shit! I hope i am not spoiling anything for anyone so i will officailly say
SPOILER ALERT!!!!!!!

Great typical episode until the end omg! Thats what this show has always been about , happy go lucky cheesey crime plot with the heart racing dark cloud of a villian that hovers above the show. Red john or not , most likely not, this new plot is thick and very odd. Is it simply richard heibach seeking reveng on the cbi? I doubt it .
One thing for sure it seems like its not a technologically advanced rich guy who is spying with the looks of that barn hideout. Poor Jj, i dont think he is dead tho because character die on camera . His eyes could of closed but they didnt but i could be wrong.
This conspiracy is just getting started and i think its going to get crazier and crazier.
Side note: agent fischer had a very troubled childhood and watching her with the magic wand was mad creepy.

The last few minutes of Black Helicopter were the best moments of the episode. Oh how I miss the old mentalist plot and story lines :(

Really guys? How on earth did this dude find a "connection" between Red John and drugs!? So far,the direction the show is taking is one that will not put clues together or even explain how Red John came up with the list of 7. Bruno Heller is constantly putting Simon Baker in charge of stuff and it seems he's moving on to his next "project".................... So please stop making ridiculous connections that don't exist because obviously Bruno Heller hasn't put much thought into explaining anything so far.
