Where did it all go wrong? Are they even trying to thread these episodes together anymore? I fear that even should they try to tie it all up now (which i'm not convinced they will) that they have just left too many loose ends that the real fans could not possibly be satisfied. It's almost like the scriptwriters have left the show for other work now and put the interns in charge. They still follow the weekly killing recipe but any overarching theme or 'shadow' is painfully missing, Ardilles' killing was the only thing of interest that has happened since the Red John reveal fiasco and if anything it seems like it was shoe-horned in inappropriately, like a grisly scene accidentally put into an episode of Murder She Wrote or Diagnosis Murder.

I for one am losing interest in the show and am only still here out of (misplaced) loyalty and the fact that I still secretly have hope that they are long-conning us and are going to turn it around. I am fast losing that hope though.

Why didn't the FBI investigate Ardilles' murder? Isn't he as important as the lawyer in the last episode? Why didn't Jane take an interest in it? Why is it down to Rigby and Van Pelt - two private detectives- to investigate out of self-interest?

And don't even get me started on the unanswered questions of the Red John reveal. It was tied up so badly that it MUST be a con. Mustn't it?

Why Lisbon and the team aren't showing any kind of mourning.
Or even showing some interest about what's going on.
They are all psychopaths.
First, Ray Haffner, then Ardilles, now Laroche.

We can't come up with any real theory now, this is just nonsense.

Why do we still hope for a future explanation xD

so i watched episode 13, but still can't understand the relation to the ending of episode 12.
I mean they don't show how did Rigsby manage to get out of the dark place where Ardiles was killed. 
And then, I don't get it, is the creepy warehouse, at the end of episode 13, with Laroche, the same place where Ardiles was killed??

Can someone please explain to me, what's the relation?

How can Jane be so unaffected by what is happening? People are trying to kill them but he doesn't seem bothered
This week's case sucked, not remotely interesting, what's happened to the show? It's like they are not even trying anymore, no effort with the plot whatsoever.
Also I don't like how Fischer is taking Lisbon's position.

Sometimes I wish the Mentalist could borrow Person of Interest writers, for me it's the best written show I've seen, in POI everything single thing is explained, the writers are able to take something so insignificant and link it to main plot like they did in the latest episode. They would have done wonders in the Red John episode.

So sad.
Just give me back my old "The mentalist".

Kinda weird that this "conspiracy" to kill cbi agents started as soon as jane came back to the states and started with the fbi. Definitely not a coincidence, but were left in the dark about this whole thing so were just gonna have to guess wait to see what happends.
