"A broken clock is right twice"

Didn't Jane use that exact phrase
before when arguing with / about Kristina Frye? I can't seem to find
it, though I do believe I've heard him say it before, though take that
with a grain of salt, cause it is a pretty common phrase.

They sure love teasing people don't they?

Last time we show Frye she was in a perma-hypnotic state, believing she was a ghost of her dead self. We have no indication that she recovered, let alone go back to work in general. However it has been quit a few years since the incident, you never know. I find it odd that Jane wouldn't consult her regarding RJ if she had recovered before the 2 year break, so I guess if they go on that road, she must've done it during it.

Still it's odd that Jane wouldn't know about it. He doesn't seem to make a connection when talking to Abbot.

If she does come back, I want to think it's RJ related, but I highly doubt it.

My scenario is that if they bring her back, it will be for her to be the romantic interest of Jane. Which is fine by me tbh. I always thought of her as a better matching for Jane.

The chemistry between them was way more interesting and intense. She's challenging for him, has outwitted him in convo more than once, and he seems generally intrigued by her in more ways than one.

Lisbon is so one dimensional as a character. Lack of facial expressions,  and downright boring. There I said it. :D

Kristina is spiced exotic meal. Lisbon is a boiled egg.

Lisbon is a such a B-word!
Did she really have to show off in front of Jane like that?
The man still sleeps on a coach in his workplace.
You would think someone would say "hey Pat you killed Red John how about you get your life together and maybe I don't know, go home? Maybe buy a home? Or a car?"
Jokes aside, this "New Beginning" seems like malarky. Jane is still trapped in the past and seems more depressed than when Red John was alive.

I know this Kristina Freye stuff can hardley be considered proof but it is definitely cool to think about.
So I ask...
*Who in your humble opinion would be the best choice for Red John if he or she is magically still alive?
*What storyline along with the character would be the most intriguing for you?

I get the feeling agent Pike is RJ but that only fills one hole in the plot. He is Mar. Maybe more will pop up as we see him more.
So my favorite scenerio is Kristina Freye. Red John being a female would be a great twist and honestly I have always thought he was a she from the vibe of the character. Ex Being in love with Patrick. Another reason why Macalister was not Red John. Macalister did not love Jane or want to recruit him for anything ever.
Freye could hypnotize anyone to do and think anything so that fills a million holes right there including her gender.
She could also be working with someone possibly her neice Grace Van Pelt? haha that be nuts!
Or her lover and partner in crime Erika Flynn?!? I would do anything for that woman. Jane has insane self control.

So tell me what your fave? Cbi Ron ? Brett Styles/Haffner? Agent Fischer...

side note: jane should do agent fischer on Lisbons desk.

**KIND OF A SPOILER**

i say kind of because it doesnt have anything to do with the case (in some ways) but at the end Abbott mentions that the guy went to see a psychic, and SHE told him where to look (trying not to spoil). Now they could have mentioned that he got clues bla bla but he went to a psychich... could this be a way to bring Kristina Frye back into it. We dont really know whats happened to her recently, where she is etc. would be kinda cool to bring her back into the mix

" Yes, I'm Pedro Pascal, I'm supposed to have a relationship with Lisbon in that shit "The Mentalist" is now. Yes, would you believe it?. I was even a fan before that 8th episode, but Bruno Heller convinced me to act for some shows and money talks. The bastard now doesn't wanna pay me, saying there's no cash cause they've been cancelled, sucker, now he is spreading rumours about my private life, bastard, I'm screwing this season's finale :  My boss is MASHBURN, HE has told my caracter to not touch her, to just seduce and lure her away from Jane's hunt. Teresa, she's for him, WALTER you know. Marcus Pike is a charade, as fag as ... well, there you have it, I'm out of the closet now darling. Red John is alive and he orders Pike to be a whistle blower and screw Jane, doing so he won't brainwash Lisbon from the Pancakes Spell, you know?. "

Real fans didn't want a soapbox for old ladies or fan-fiction wanna be's, but the good mysteries unveiled. Patrick Jane sucks arse now and will end up listening to Queen's "Too much love will kill you" or Embrace's "Follow you home".

1-  Heller is not a retard or dumb person to nt have a satisfactory ending
2-  If he cant give u all 20 closures on the RJ thingie like his being a Jane-like person, charismatic, tea drinker, barn in 1980s, rosalind harker and all, he may still cud have given 5.
3-  But he chose not to give even 1 - tht is a statement and not due to time constraints or creativity constraints
4-  He made it a point to show RJ as a dumb-ass. PJ commented "I am a lil disappointed". He made it a point to show tht RJ was a afraid person. He was a coward.

These are facts and not assumptions or assertions. Where do they lead us?

IMHO Heller decided that he was not gonna showcase RJ as a big deal. Of-course he got this thinking only towards the time when the reveal was imminent. Earlier, he wanted to glorify him. Now, I may be inclined to think that in the ensuing 5 months he might have thought and thought again and may change his mind if the theories here who say RJ would be resurrected are to be believed.

The only thing that is important here right now is that whether these ppl have a will to keep the show going for 1 more season. It will be a shame really as it is/was such a great show.
