Ok i just saw the preview and i have to admit i am about 99 percent were all gonna be disappointed.
But it strikes me as weird that Jane would run after the plane. I mean yea he could be sad and just try and give that one big speech before she takes off but its too late but i think its more than that. He knows she is leaving and can give that speech at any time why as she is taking off?
What does Jane learn to make him look so distraught and race to catch her flying away. Were in for a cliffhanger people. Lisbon is on trouble. Pike although maybe not Red John may be a serial killer himself. He said he was married before how did they end? Does jane find he was married to 5 woman who all disappeared?
Its a stretch i know but i also know jane wouldn't chase down a plane just to say i love you. Not his bag.

It's pretty sad watching posters flame on each other here (but hey it's the Internet).

After scouring through theories I missed the past few days, I came to a small realization:

I believe that if the show had tied up the RJ storyline coherently / tactfully, this site would be dead for the most part. Even if the actual choice disappointed the majority of tenders. Sure, it'd have a grace period of excited or not people, but it wouldn't carry on for this long. Some of us might've stopped watching the show altogether.

It's our inability to move on (not a bad thing imo, but still), that keeps this place going.

There are countless theories post episode 8 in here (some of them pretty intriguing) that would never come to be if that episode wasn't so.. bland (for lack of a non offensive word).

Just food for thought before we go at each other's throat in here.

Wouldn't it be nice...

Final moments in 6x22: Jane dashing on the runway, missing Lisbons plane to DC.

His mobile rings.

Jane: "Who's there?"

RJ voice: "I guess you have been off track lately, chasing women instead of worthy adversaries! By the way: guess which plane I'm on right now..."

If Heller bring back Styles think of all the possibilities that could occur?
I dont think him being alive is so far fetched too. If mac faked his death why couldn't Styles!
He was on the run from the fbi what better way to evade them than to become a ghost.
If Styles comes back the story line could go in 1000 different ways.
Maybe we will finally know what happened at Janes house.
Before the bomb when all the magic happened.
Lisbon eluded to Styles being alive saying "i thought he would survive Armageddon ".
And that was the only reference we have had of him which is weird.
Lets face it that actor is a ratings boost by himself.
I would love to see him again.

Watching the promo of the last episode of this season I am getting the following conclusion: this season started as the best of all and will finish as the worst.

If producers have an ace in the hole, I think now is the time to use it.

It would be a great twist if Bret Stiles, Thomas McAllister and Krystina Frye were all involved in the Red John case. Bret Stiles would be the great leader behind all cases. Their beliefs justify what Red John said at the end of the fourth season, he would not be sentenced for his crimes. Due to the psychic powers of Krystina, there would be an explanation of how Red John knew the names in the Patrick Jane's list. Finally, Thomas McAllister would be Red John, the person who execute the plans. There is some evidence in the series that Bret Stiles would be involved, for example, it was him who gave the whereabouts of Krystina in third season. Moreover, Red John didn't kill Krystina. Of course these are just some thoughts and the series certainly would not take that route.
