LATEST THEORIES

7th season of the Mentalist-love games begin.....

Will jane marry lisbon? Will they go on honeymoon? If jane maries lisbon do they have children?
What will be the name of children? Will lisbon resign from the FBI?

The show's name may be the adventure of love birds.

So emotional and intelligent person like jane how can forget his wife and daughter.
I think this is not art.Only a commercial game.

i know this has been said before, but why couldn't the RJ story line end with timothy carter.  the night i watched that episode was the most satisfied i have ever been with a tv show.  and it wasn't because of who RJ was, but the way it went down.  you had an arrogant creepy little man, who slipped up and got caught.  and for the first time in tv history, the hero of the show chose to flush morals down the drain and follow through with his plan.  and then the best part of all was when he sat down to finish his tea, know very well the consequences he would face.

also, up til then, the clues that had been put out could have been tied up.  you had a creepy guy who liked killing, he was dorky enough to be a computer hacker, maybe he had a relative in the fbi that he used for a couple of small tasks.  the true downward spiral started at the beginning of season 4.  mainly because RJ became more of a focus on an almost weekly basis.  before S4, he would pop up every few episodes, but after that we started getting more and more clues.  at the time it seemed great, but with more and more clues, it became almost impossible to ti them all together.

so what ended up happening, for me at least, is that once the RJ reveal was over, i not only felt cheated out of all of S6, but i felt cheated all the way back to S4.  and it is sad to think that in the past 3 seasons there was enough time to create and establsh an entirely new super villain for PJ to chase.  especially since they had options like stiles and laroche that they could have played off of.

i compare this to the matrix movies.  the first 2 were full of cool action and planted all these seeds about prophecy and revolution.  i went to the midnight opening of the 3rd movie, and at the end there was a giant "WTF" throught the entire crowd.

that being said, to take a page from stoopkid and post and outrageously optimistic theory, S7 could still save all of this.  i could even grow to ignore the jisbon crap.  basically we can all agree that the patrick jane story is complete.  he got his bad guy.  he got is new girl...speaking of which, in defense of the jisbon fans, even though to me it seems creepy and almost incestuous, i think a lot of us could appreciate the post RJ episodes a little more if you continue to remind yourself that there was a 2 year break between the CBI and FBI episodes.  in those 2 years there were a lot of letters shared between the two, and a lot of time for jane to start to move on.

but still, S7 will be worthless if they continue to focus on jane.  on the other hand, it will be great if they take 13 episodes to replay the entire series through the eyes of Red John.  just as we rooted for jane to catch RJ for years, we can see jane as rj's nemisis over the span.  also, that would give a chance to tie things up. they could show which clues meant something, and ones that are unexplainable could be shown as intentional misdirection by RJ.  it would be incredible. i know xander berkeley would be up to the task.

There is a good reason why a lot of people think this was all a dream after episode 8.
It really seems like a false reality. Everything was rushed and patches together last second.
Nobody brought up red john hardly, the Ba a little, Visualize at all, and the cbi hitlist was never explained.

I think season 7 is where reality catches up to everyone. Jane is at an all time high and i glad the jisbon stuff has come and gone already. The only way for Jane to go is down.
Has everyone seem Dexter? I look at Jane and Lisbon as Dexter and Deb his sister who has incestuous thoughts about him. Which fits perfect cuz Jane and Lisbon are like bro and sis.
Dexter's lies and games finally caught up to him.
Who knows what Jane has manipulated. The guy is crazy and always gets what he wants.
He could have made the cbi hit-list and made everyone think it was haibach. Haibah only kidnapped Gvp no way he stabbed Ardilles like that.
My point is we really don't know where reality starts and illusion begins.
Jane crying after killing Macalister was weird to me only bc Jane was happy when he Killed Carter right?

Season 7 will be bloody. I sure hope it is too.
There is nothing else for the show to do then to revisit the past and what better time to do it then the encore season.
I bet you Heller and the team knew for a while they would get a season 7.
It was up in the air for us fans but i am sure Heller and cbs had it planned out.
With that being said why shoot your load too early? Save it for the true finale .
Season 7 will cover the plot holes. Styles and Haffner will be back. That tweet was not just a joke its all publicity.
And if Haffner is alive you know he has a few skeletons in his closet. And if he finds out his crush is with Jane he is gonna be pissed!
No way Macalister set off a concussion bomb. Knocked himself out and was able to get up and carry all those bodies himself and make a clean getaway before Lisbon showed up.
In reality he woulda been knocked out as long as everyone else especially since they all woke up at THE SAME EXACT TIME. Weird.

Please don't start in-fighting bluebird. Being unified by a hatred isn't a bad thing. We all realise its a show, and express our opinions in a manner that does not hurt others. But being butthurt because someone doesn't like the same things you do shows a lack of regard for other people. Asking others to withhold negativity helps nothing.

While you may have had a very superficial relationship with the show, many people here have shared a visceral attachment since season 1, primarily to the Red John storyline. When so many people were/are disgusted by the way it ended, you cannot tell people to "get over it." The very essence of the show has been taken away this season. It's like the Mentalist was already cancelled.

While it can be claimed, getting over it shows a mark of character and loyalty, it is in complaining in which we truly express how much we once enjoyed the show. We still like some parts of every episode! Some parts we hate! But we watch in hope, we watch with patience, because we're loyal to the legacy of the brilliant seasons 1-5.

For us, if any single episode next season has 'Red' in the title, it will be a good season.

I need aspirin to check this website..Complaining, complaining, complaining..

Get it out of your systems in the next couple of months so we can be back in 6-8 months (whenever season 7 starts) with a new attitude. Honestly, I've never seen such a depressing website! It's really getting boring and laughable.
