LATEST THEORIES

Not only is the mentalist a rip off of The Pro-filer, there are some big plot points stolen from the movie Red Dragon starring Anthony Hopkins and Edward Norton. To spare you the trouble of seeing the movie let me explain to you what Bruno Heller stole. First lets start with the name, RED dragon.......... this may not be much but it's a possibility he used the Red theme idea from this. In the movie, the story revolves around a serial killer named the tooth fairy............................ he is obsessed about a painting named "the great red dragon". Guess who drew the painting............... William Blake.

Episode 7, Season 6....... the name of the episode is "The great red dragon" !!! The un-originality from Bruno Heller is shameful! So far what do we have  in common? Serial killer+Red theme+William Blake.
Case closed............ this man has not a single original bone in his body. Red John was never planned properly. He stole ideas from different shows and movies...... thats it.

In the 4th Season of The Mentalist in Episode 7 Patrick Jane speaks in the Interview on purpose about Red John. He knew how James Penser would talk about Red John and he knew that the Cbi/Fbi would never be able to catch the San joaquin killer. So he practically used Red John to kill him and to secure his thought that Timothy Carter isnt Red John

BLUE BIRD a.k.a the dove that carries a dynamite stick in it's beak.

Red John is dead... Long Live the Blue Bird.
Why do we need a serial killer when we have the one thing that made him wet his pants?
Enter... Blue "pigeon" Bird.
That's right. The very thing that scared the sh*t out of the "officer of the law" will be back, to terrorize the FBI just because it can. Perhaps it would send the whole park of it's buddies to crash into the headquarters windows and paint the whole town in BLUE.

Or...

Will the "mother of all scares" be released at the altar for a "cute" effect?
To find out the answers to all of the above questions tune into Season 7. Coming soon...

I am sorry about all the Grace stuff but for some reason the writers wanted her to seem very suspicious early on. We get insights into all the characters past. Rigsby and Cho we learned a bit and obviously Jane as well as Lisbon and her drunk father.
But Gvp for some reason seems to have the most skeletons in her closet.
First the way awkward first time meeting with Jane. Priceless.
Then the infamous dinner table convo about God and soul-less Jane.
Then Gvp was nearly in tears because Jane made fun of Kristina Freye's powers. Cousin Yolanda 4 life.
We then learn Grace has a thing with suicide. Her sister killed herself but Grace lied about the whole thing to Rigsby and said she never had a sister.

Then the episode i saw last week with a girl from foster care found dead on an island.
Grace wad LIVID the whole episode!
She assaulted a witness and spilled coffee on a foster care lady.
It was all because the foster care lady could not do her job as Grace said. Lisbon was worries about her but Grace said she was fine.
My question is why make Grace have so many question marks with subjects that are right up the Red John story lines alley!
Is she really gone?

i kind of get a kick out of the fact that some of these theories still get an "unlikely" vote.  no offense to anyone that clicks it...it does say "unlikely" and not "impossible".  but if the hand we have currently been dealt is a storyline involving a redneck sherrif turned serial killer / criminal mastermind who's demise lead to the incest laden relationship simply to satisfy all the jisboners out there, what isn't plausible???

seriously, if i had posted before 6x8 that McAssclown was going to remove his clark kent style of a costume (sheriff hat and moustache) to reveal that he was not only RJ, but the leader of the BA, only to be derailed by a pigeon.  and that would lead to PJ dancing in a pink sarong and floral blouse.  stack on rigsby taking bullets like a cyborg, and top it all off with the creepiest kiss of all time.  now that would have gotten everybody's "unlikely" vote.

so now when someone tries to make just a little sense out of the entire debacle, i can't bring myself to call it unlikely, no matter how unlikely it might seem at first read.  at this point, i would have to say a season 7 where cho tracks down rigsby and rips his heart out with his bare hands just so he can finally get a sweet piece of some GVP, or where abbott confesses to being Kirkland's maternal twin, or lisbon admits she is PJ's bilogical sister........after what we've seen, i'd have to vote anything as plausible

Red Johns

Piggybacking off if Hll i have been thinking about the many red johns theory lately. Its the only plausible way to explain the different styles of Rj. I wrote this a while ago but it seems to fit todays theme.

John and Jane doe.
Red John Doe.
What if there was a manipulative mastermind out there.
He/she used people to kill for him or her. They were john do's with a knife and an order to kill.
This mastermind hated the Ba.
Wanted them taken down but you cant just kill the members because they can easily be replaced. This mastermind guro cult leader saw Patrick Jane as a great asset.
One he gets to play this game with Jane and two he can lead Jane to the Ba and very slowly i might add.
He killed Janes family to control him. Just like he does with a lot of his followers. Jane would search high and low for him but low and behold a master plan to take down the Ba.
He used Macalister to kill Janes family to ensure that Mac would later be killed by Jane.

RJ's characteristics in total...simply do not match up, and I've long though RJ was two different people [or many].

RJ No. 1 is refined, loves Bach, wears fine suits, sips tea the right way, appreciates beauty and women [Harker, Lorelei] is clearly educated, clever, manipulative, with extensive knowledge of many things, including surveillance, as well as hypnosis.  This RJ is persuasive, and as such must be a lover to have such a devoted female following, but he is also a power hungry egomaniac psychopath who believes he is a god amongst others.  However, I doubt this RJ would get his hands too dirty.  He has minions, for this RJ is the MIND, the CREATOR, the ARCHITECT...

RJ No. 2 is not refined, and has the ability to kill in a way that would make anyone else sick.  This is the small time worker, though someone on a power trip, too, albeit on a lower lever.  He has the ability enough to carry out his deeds with his own hands, and knows very well what it is he specifically knows, but is not broadminded enough to resist being manipulated by someone smarter.  This is someone, who under the right influence [or hypnosis] could be manipulated to do to people what he has long done to animals.  This is the HUNTER, the WORKER, the STOOL PIGEON...

So, did Patrick Jane fulfill his mission and kill the man who killed his family?

I THINK YES.  I think McAllister was the man who did that deed, physically, and as such, it was appropriate for Season Six, ep. 8 to have happened [even if I still don't like the WAY it happened]

McAllister was RJ No. 2

THIS IS THE ONLY WAY SEASON SIX CAN BE EXPLAINED as having been LEGIT and would make sense for why things were so confusing....Jane knew that McAllister was the one, but also that he was RJ No. 1's decoy

RJ No. 1 sent McAllister to kill Jane and frame Bertram because HE KNEW Jane would be ahead of McAllister.  RJ knew he could count on Jane to get rid of McAllister for him in the name of revenge.  And in RJ's sick, warped mind, he probably thought that he was giving Jane a gift, an emotional catharsis, handing over to
Jane the man who killed his family.

ANOTHER STOOL PIGEON:  HAIBACH -- it was RJ who killed LaRoche and Ardiles, just like he killed Wainwright and Bosco...
NO WAY small timer Haibach masterminded an elaborate surveillance plot....RJ was using Haibach to try and take out Grace and Wayne...

SO......Jane is still hunting, waiting patiently and playing the game...because...

The question that remains:  WHO IS RED JOHN No. 1....?

BRET STILES
RAY HAFFNER
MICHAEL KIRKLAND
KRISTINA FRYE
CBI RON
VIRGIL MINELLI
WALTER MASHBURN
GRACE VAN PELT
