Just imagine.

We stand at the edge of the show that kept us all together. Ten minutes remain. Jane went on television as a psychic again to lure out Lazarus and it worked. The killer is caught and all is well with the world. Jane and Lisbon are married. We skip ahead a year. Jane is back in his old house to say his last goodbyes to the family he leaves behind as he readies himself for a new life. He scrubs out what still can be from the smiley face that ever haunted him, long after he did what he could and promised to do to the man who painted it there.

"You continue to surprise me."

The voice at the chamber door is unmistakable. Jane turns to face Him.

"Sorry it's been so long. I didn't believe it until I saw it. You did move on, Patrick. I feared for a good long while you never could."

So they meet, the tiger and the lamb, for the third and last time. Jane accepts the truth as it is, having long suspected it, yet let himself believe otherwise so as not to rob himself of the priveledge of moving forward. Now the grudges of past that would've poisoned their meeting anytime earlier isn't there anymore. There is no forgiveness. That could never be. But there is the health of distance.

They talk. Confirm where they're at and where they're going, answer any questions the other might have, yet let enough remain unsaid that they don't reawaken the ghosts of the past.

Accepting the philosophy of the tiger, finally they shake hands, not as friends, not as foes, not comrades, simply as equals.

The credits run.

It has been a long and fun road, up unti this past season or two. Not just watching the show, but coming to this website the day after and reading all the theories was probably my favorite part.  Unfortunately, we are about .0001 % of the Mentalist fan base, so I doubt the writers care about what we think...maybe they do though, who knows?  Anyway, just wanted to say I have had a good time reading all the "shit talk" , mostly people yelling at Stoopkid, Haha.  There is always a possibitly of another season supposedly.  Maybe we will have more to talk about...doubt it, but one can hope.  Hope everyone has a good rest of their lives. :)

I'm glad that the nightmare of all mysteries series ends in a low stinky cheesy way, fuck ya BH u piece of shite, fuck ya all miserable scum low talented SOBs writers, ridiculous snobs, sold outs, make yer press statements ya all greedy actors when its real ya all hate the crap you had to play for more than a bloody year, money talks, fuck "The Mentalist", hail RJ and Lorelei and all the mother fuckin' villains who were all indeed greater than the untalented imbeciles who created 'em, how I hate happy endings, let's wait until a year or two to listen how they all are gonna state how season 6 was a complete error.

GREEN : all the gaps and holes will forever remain that.
RED      : stop bitching, "The Mentalist" rules.

Maybe Jane could be Red John but I do not think.You know, season 6 was complete bullshit. According to me, THE WRITERS failed.

I'm so f***ing glad this massive train wreck of a show is coming to an end. It was so great for about four, maybe five seasons, with all that build up and intrigue of the Red John mystery. Then we finally had a final list of suspects! Jane narrowed it down! We were going to know who the killer of Jane's wife and daughter was and how he got away with everything!

And then it was Yosemite Sam, the rootinest, tootinest, shootinest Napa County Sheriff ever, who is afraid of birds and can run through glass doors while shot with little effect, but can't outrun a guy who never does any physical activity, and doesn't have any back up weapons. The woman in the church? Never found anything out about her. The list of Blake Association members? That went nowhere.

Bruno Heller, screw you. There's a reason I don't watch Gotham (well, besides it's a dumb idea to do a Batman show WITHOUT Batman).

You broke my heart. This show broke my heart by being good and then destroying itself in a blaze of incompetence.

Also, Red John should have been Haffner. Visualize member, shook Jane's hand, has an interest in Lisbon, has an anger inside him, access to CBI information. Probably really narcissistic.
