HOLY COW batman!! just saw one of the previews at cbs .com..where patrick tells lisbon that jj and ardilles ARE NOT ON THE LIST!! and that PEOPLE not a single person close to her are on the list and if he tells her she is going to act differently around them...i knew it!!...it has to be walter,tommy.herself or somebody of the main cast....please let it be vanpelt !!!!!!!
Actually, I really have it narrowed down to Patrick Jane, Kimball Cho, and Wayne Rigsby. For me, it's more of a gut hunch on each of these. As far as Patrick Jane, he always seems to know how the criminal thinks...his past is kind of shady...and he turns his emotions on and off in a rather odd manner -- very similiar to someone with a mental illness like multiple personality disorder. With Agent Cho, he's just so cold -- doesn't seem to connect much with any of his co-workers -- more like he's observing, so he'll know how to throw them off the track. And with Rigsby, he's a bit unstable -- too emotional...like a loose cannon. Like I said, my theories have no solid facts, they're all just a gut hunch...call it women's intuition. My husband says I'm way off base...he thinks it's the head guy from the church/cult.
I definitely believe Kirkland is the prime suspect, he is suspicious and killed the associate of RJ because he was going to reveal his identity. However, it seems too easy; He is probably a high associate of RJ, there are a lot of
scenes that I thought were very interesting:
-The scene in the car with the FBI women
- The scene where he killed the guy in the hospital
-The scene where he changes the board of Patrick in order to know where he is in the RJ case
That's not a guess,
I'm definitely sure he has the power to be RJ
This Who is Red John Mystery is so easy to solve if i were Patrick Jane, All he have to do is go to each suspect and have a brief conversation with each of them while TAPE their voices and play it to rosalind, she will tell you who red john is. Problem solved but like jane said in his own words in the last episode "the fun is not knowing what's in the box". So maybe subconciously Jane doesn't really wanna find out who red john is because it puts an end to everything he currently has such as new relationships, friendships, and hidden love crush with lisbon.
I always thought Red John will be Walter Mashburn or Brent Stiles, but i think by the finale of The Mentalist, One of Jane's team will be revealed as Red John's accomplice all along... My money in on LISBON or VAN PELT.
I think Red John is Dr Roysten Daniel's: Forgot about him until the suspects list on the website.

His name Roysten if you - sten it = ROY!
Reason 2.
His last name is Daniels it certain countries they have a drink called Jack Daniels and Jack can be another name for John. This may not be anything.
Reason 3. He's a hypnotist and he reads people like Jane.
Reason 4 . Roysten Daniel's = Red
