Okay so before we begin to even take a stab at who red john is we have to get in the right mindset, have to ask ourselves these questions:
1. did bruno even tell the actor who is red john noone knows2. script changes (end of season strawberrys and cream was meant to be end of series maybe cus of bad ratings)3. has to be a well known good actor4. do we have enough info to be able to guess who it is? or are the major clues commming in the last season.explain the script changes with the killing of fake red john was meant as a series ender because of his voice and he seemed like a perfect match, plus since they didnt know who red john was the actors themselves are in a different mind set so some clues that we think are clues might not be clues at all.. thats the irritating part about thisthe list of suspects are as follows:1. Reed Smith
2. Sherrif McAlister
3. Brett Stiles
4. Bertram
5. Haffner
6. Kirkland
7. forensic dude***AND NO JANE ISNT RED JOHN! (Bruno already stated that and varified the validity of the 7 list suspects that red john is one of them)---My THEORY--- Reed Smith is not gonna be him because even though his age might be close i think hes a little too young to be on the farm. He does seem like the red john personality but i believe hes just a distraction hes too hot headed to be red john, plus hes not that high up in the FBI to have real power so i believe he is out. Kirkland is another interesting one, because he broke into Janes office but he gave me the impression that he is trying to find Red John more than trying to conceal his identity, some people say he is also excluded because he appeared after when lorelei told jane he shook hands with red john, but either way he doesnt seem the red john type, even though he has a certain level of creepyness. My theory on kirkland is that he was a victem of red john, the way lorelei sister was, kirkland was also a adopted kid that was in that program where loreleis sister was (miranda), but managed to escape somehow (or someone saved him), so thats why he asks that guy (i think his name was todd johnson) something like do you know who i am? That would be so stupid if red john did ask that because obviously todd worked for red john and he knew who he was... Forensic dude (forgot his name lol) could very well be a potential red john suspect because he was there from the biginning, plus he worked on all the red john cases, maybe red john likes to come back and see the reactions on what hes done, but if i had a choice i would say hes not because (and if only my theory stands true that there were script changes) he was meant to be the scapegoat to make people wonder or just kept around in the story in case the script changed, kind of as a "back-up Red John". Brett stiles is an interesting one, i could very well see him being red john (if not for the age confliction) because he is very powerfull man by running visualize, has alot of people (like haffner) in various governmental positions. But i get the feeling that he is more of a good guy than bad, but he has some kind of relationship with red john, hes not red johns diciple but he knows him somehow (like how he knew where frye was being held and told Jane). Also his relationship with jane  seems genuine why would he risk breaking out lorelei out of prison if he was red john, red john would never do that. Sherrif McAlister is another name people werent that happy to see, why??? I could definetly see why bruno chose to put him in, that actor is wonderful he plays the main antagonist in Nikita, not to mention being in alot of blockbuster movies, the bottom line is the man could act and we have to assume that red john (in order for it to be worth 6 seasons of chasing) has to be played by a good actor, that is the reason why i think he could be red john, even though he was only in one episode. Also, on the side note, in episode 2 (only one he appeard in) when they were questioning that dead girls boyfriend, the mexican thug, he kept looking at the side of the camera (at the fherrif) before he answered the questions, just something that jumped out at me i doubt it means anything, just had to say something we dont know shit about him.,  Bertram, wow between the william blake quotes and those creepy eyes, not to mention the large amount of power he has in SBI being the director, he really could be red john, i dont know what to say about him but i feel like in the finale strawberrys and cream where jane creates that hotel room trick to find out the informant, it was funny to me that bertram was thought to be it (later cleared because the killer wanted to propel to the floor underneath on the balcony), i just thought that was funny but anyways could very well be red john. Also i was always wondering in strawberrys and cream episode how did the fake red john know where bertram and jane were going to wait for hightower since only those 2 knew maybe i missed something but it might point to bertram again..
 
 Haffner is my ideal choice in red john for a few reasons, he is the perfect age to be on the farm and be red john, plus he is a member of visualize, lisbon asked him if he was at the farm and he said "were still friends right?", he asks cho if jane is smarter than him (red john like mentality), he tries to convert lisbon like he does with other of his disciples by giving them something they want, in lisbons case it was the job offer (very red john like action), he has a good deal of power in his career, plus i always was thinkind about what the stiles -red john link is, i believe that since haffner is a part of visualize he uses the religions resources and contacts (thats why he has people everywhere), but i always asked myself why would stiles let him? My answer would be that they are related somehow, we can assume that since we dont know shit about stiles (he doesnt owna  house, car nothing everything is in visualize) he can create a identity pretty easily (or hide one), plus haffner and stiles look kind of alike, same hair color, eye color, my guess is he is either his son or some part of his family, so thats why he knows so much about red john yet he doesnt seem to be under his control...Those are just random theories of mine but hey maybe we dont have enough clues at all, if its mcalister in the end you can see my point, all we can do is wait for next season! Also, on a side note WTF happened to janes dad??? why dont they mention his story i bet you hes gonna play a bigger part of next season i doubt hes red john but he has to know red john otherwise how can red john know that happy memory jane had about that girl in his home town, I doooont knooooow! xD

Is preety obvious is brett,he is always at the red johns cases ,it seems he is pretty crazy ,he hates jane , and when he talks about red john he makes some weird and scary comments ,his voice is exactly like red john and like i said he is always in red johns cases ,when RJ met PJ brett appeared at the start of the show it seem pretty obvious
