LATEST THEORIES

My suspect is Brett Partridge. Why? I have a reason:

Your voice:

Look closely to the chapters in which the coroner appears, her voice sweet and methodical.
I am a technical audio recording, I used a program to reduce the noise of the masks used by Rj the last chapter of the second season, and his voice is like Brett.
In a experimeto contario decided to do, I took the audio of Brett and added the similar effect of the mask and the result would not be different from identical to the chapter.

Everyone knows that Rj is very smart and Bruno Heller may be playing tricks on everyone.

We will not know the conduct of the sixth season.

Regards to all fans and fissured in "The Mentalist".

                                              Very Important , I'm really confused !!!!
( Please read it  !!!!!! and explain if I'M wrong )

Hello , I noticed these Days that everybody is almost sure  that Brett partridge Is Rj ,
I'm gonna explain why he's not :

1- Don't you think that it would be ridiculouss to be him , I mean he's the obvious choice .knowing , that Bruno Heller said that we'll be disappointed when we know who Rj is ,so  It won't be him.

2- assuming that Rj is Brett partridge , Rj said in the 4th season finale that he has a Good friend in the FBI thanks to him he knew that Jane faked the Death of rigsby and Teresa , I mean if Rj was Brett , then he would know himself , without any help !

PS: I have an intuition that's a big big twist gonna happend in the 6th season , I don't know why , but I think maybe the  suspects' list is wrong or either someone of the team ( teresa - GVB - Rigsby - Cho) will appear to be someone very close to Rj , and he knew him all the time + He's done some of His dirty Work , or someone of them will be blackmailed to Mislead Rj or something like that !

I think it's  Alex Jane the Red John . Him is like Jane and if you remember the last episode of The mentalist you can realize that only the  Jane father's could know the   son's memories

I'm jost going to limit amount of the accused.
1-As Red john appeared in season 2 final then patrick wouldn't be Red john himself.
2-When Bob Kirkland asked Jason Lonen whether he recognize him he said no, I mean why wouldn't he recognize Red John?
Besides,  Kirkland was doing the same investigation that patrick made.Let's just imagine he's Red john;Don't you think it's ridiculous we find out who's Red john like that.
3-If you remember patrick smiled when he found broken toothpick.Just think about that why he did? He knows Red john've got plenty of rats so he would not make a same mistake twice (season 4 final).
I certainly assume we shouldn't even beleive in the suspects list.
4-I think he's just playing games with Red john.Did you notice that during all this years as time goes by he lower his trustable friends. When I was watching 5x22 I thought he probably don't trust lisbon no more.
5-But there is something that I can't explain. How Red john killed that good memory? Maybe he has real powers!

Well... I still have a few episodes to go before I finished watching Season 5 of the Mentalist.
I know, the most obvious theory isn't always correct, but in this case... I have two suspects that I really like for this.

1. Bret Stiles
Lorelei said that Patrick and Red John were much alike, manipulative and playing mind games... When she escaped from prison and was in the Motel with Patrick Jane, she said a few things that totally reminded me of Stiles' cult: Visualize. She said after her sister was killed she "found her true self. Nothing can hurt me". That sounds much like Visualize.
And Bret Stile surely knows how to play with words and people's minds.

Although... I think he's somewhat too nice for that. I came to sort of like him in the end.

2. Bob Kirkland
Why? Well... He's high up, if I'm not mistaken. He could have the powerful friends that Red John has throughout Law Enforcement. He pushes the CBI off the Red John case, doesn't want anyone to talk to the only witness who could identify Red John, after Lorelei shot the man. (Sorry, I forgot his name).
And he was the one at the hospital, asking these weird questions, if he had ever seen him before and if the man would remember him. Why would Kirkland kill the only living suspect who can identify Red John, if he was chasing that serial killer? I believe he either IS Red John himself, or he at least is a close associate of Red John's.

These are just my main suspects, but I know the producers of the Mentalist do know how to keep their fans on their toes. And after all... Gale Bertram might be a possible suspect, too. After all, in the beginning of Season 4 (I think it was S 4) he quotes the second verse of William Blakes' "The Tyger" and states it's just an old poem he likes. So maybe he could be Red John too.... but he almost seems too nice for that....

Hello . do you remember season 1 episode 23 (Red John's Footsteps) at 3:56
( the shadow of red john) i think the whole purpose of showing us the shadow is to let us know that red john wears a jacket  , so we can exclude , Brett Partridge and Thomas McAllister ,
because they don't wear a jacket

We believe Red John is Patrick Jane's father, Alex Jane.

He has all of the qualities of Patrick, and NONE of the conscious.

My son and I have felt this way since the carnival flashback episode.

Who else is so viscerally attached to Patrick's "success" than his dad.
