People, read carefully .. (excuse my english skills)

The show " the mentalist" is not named just after Patrick Jane, but also after Red john ( he is mentalist too). Why do you think Jane is struggling so much on EVERY Red John case and fails to solve it. It is because they think alike, and by that advantage,Red John knows the way Jane thinks , every single Red Johns accomplice that was caught by Patrick said that they are so much alike. They think the same way, behave the same way, filled with charm, confidence , can seduce women easily = Walter Mashburn. 
Red John is not sneaky,shy,lonely or anything like that.. like Brett Partridge is.

Bruno didn't film the scene where Lisbon slept with Mashburn for no reason.. that is going to be interesting when she has to confess to Jane that she SLEPT WITH RED JOHN. Lisbon never goes off sleeping with another man, that proves my point that Mashburn can manipulate women like Jane can.

One last thing .. 
List is a way to deceive viewers because he was throwing everyone off with it, cause he knows someone has broken into that place where he kept the evidence... Bruno Heller said that list is 100% accurate. But he didn't say which list, because the one that we saw little glimpses off in the book before IS the list.

I have noticed a scene and I wanted to share it with you guys.. check out the 8th episode of the 4th season starting at 25:00.. it puts Ron right in the center of the spot, and it distinguish him from all surrounding agents

Listen to the voice that laughs at Jane in the hookers phone, and he is just mysteriously gone during all of this. He has access to the secure sight. But of course he has help.

For me, CBI Ron is red john or his right hand man
cmonn guys, he is always in the background his real name is John Troy Donovan!!!!
many scenes in the series made him guilty, the first time he was seen in the series was in "seeing red"!! , he doesn't speak alot, he wears the same ring as red john, he has been seen walking with many red john disciples, heez got the body for it, when he appears, the red john weird sound go on. If he is not red john, then iam 90% sure he is his right hand man.

 I have a strong guess that lisbon is an accomplice to red john , and jane knew it all the time , and he uses her to mislead Rj , especially when it comes to the suspects list, Sometimes when Teresa asks him  a question , U see his eyes like shining , like it's clear that he's lying to mislead Rj , so wheather Teresa is an accomplice to Rj or Rj have someway to pull informations from her

i saw some people saying red john has real powers as he killed a happy memory only jane knew about and i will show u why he doesn't have
cause wouldn't it be silly after all
Jane denied himself having super-natural powers and after rethinking it
seems more unlikely as i just think rj knows how to use his brain the
only explanation i fin about this happy memory is that rj knew where
Patrick was raised and we all have happy memories in the place we were
raised he just had to find the right person that could have created a
happy memory.

one more thing rj said that doing such a job (killing that happy
memory) is what should be considered a clever work and i think he
wouldn't describe himself to be clever if he had powers

another thing don't you think that Lorelei rj's mistress would have
known if he had powers instead she sad he has weakness points and can be
killed after describing him to be just like Patrick.

after that i think rj doesn't have any powers he just knows how to use his mind

In season 5 episode 16, Bob Kirkland goes out of his way to get information from CBI. The show doesn't show why Gale Bertram gave Kirkland access, so it's possible that he convinced Bertram. 2 episodes later, he asks Jason Lennon whether he remembered him. Just after Lorelei shot him, Jane said that "he knows who Red John is". The only reason I can think of to explain why Kirkland asked that question is because he's scared that Jason can Identify him. Right before Kirkland killed him, he said, "I just hope, that if I'm ever in your shoes, I have a friend close enough to do this for me."  Kirkland refers to Jason as a friend and most associates of Red John are his 'friends'.

In season 5 episode 5, a woman named Alexis Shultz(?) asks for updates on the Red John case, normally, it wouldn't mean much, but then she turns to Kirkland and says, "Done." As if Kirkland put her up to it.

In Season 5 episode 7, Kirkland goes to Lisbon specifically to ask her to stop pursuing Tommy Volker. It's later revealed that Brenda was a mole in the CBI. She was the reason Tommy Volker knew about the CBI's moves. She may also be tipping RJ off too and he didn't want his leak to be revealed.

Then, in season 5 episode 19, a Jane's attic is broken into, and a man who looks a lot like Kirkland is seen looking at pictures of Jane's evidence board. His face is never directly seen, but his build is clearly visible.
