LATEST THEORIES

I don't know who Red John is but I do know that it is not Brett Patridge, why? you may ask, well here's why.

It has been stated that by the end of episode 1 of the new season the list of Red John suspects will be down to 6 people, so 1 suspect will be eliminated during the season opener. When we look at the suspects that are going to appear in the episode we will find that there will be Bertram and Patridge. Since Bertram is still alive after this episode (he will appear in episode 2 and is currently filming episode 5; source Michael Gastons twitter) it is pretty obvious that Patridge will be elmininated somehow during the episode.

I'm sure by now everyone has heard the theory about the "Red Shirt Guy" who is sitting in the food court during the final episode of season 3.  If you're not familiar with this theory click this first link. It's a short video.

Now, what many of you may not know, is that this same man can be spotted in season 4 episode 9.
Around 35 secs into this video he is sitting on the roof top wearing a suit, while Jane and Lisbon enjoy their icecream.  This is obviously the same man. Short, dark hair. Medium build. Wearing a business suit......Oh did I mention the name of the episode is "THE RED SHIRT".
I would like to hear you all expand on this theory and share thoughts. And is that the CBI rooftop we see so much?  Anyway watch the clips and take a look.  Open two windows and take a look at the guy....

Show this theory

Season 1, 9th or 10th episode. When Patrick helps that guy to get out of jail, the guy runs away, goes to mexico and gets killed by red john. The guy wrote on the wall "He is Mar...", leaving Ellis Mars as the only one with name beginning with "Mar".

Well , Im going to discover NOW who is Red John , so this is a VERY HUGE SPOILER

1- I have seen a photo where Reede Smith , Sheriff Thomas McAllister and Gale Bertram are with PJ but this says that they arent RJ. This photo is gonna be show on S6 E2.

So , if we count that , only this suspects are RJ-
-Brett PATRIDGE
-Bret STILES
-Raymond HAFFNER
-Bob KIRKLAND

2- Lorelei told PJ that RJ wasnt his friend since they shoked hands. So Bret Stiles isnt RJ

So now the list is -

Brett PATRIDGE
Raymond HAFFNER
Bob Kirkland

3- RJ has 30 when he started to work on Vizualize. So Brett Patridge cant be ... he also didnt work on Vizualize.

So now the list is-
Raymond HAFFNER
Bob KIRKLAND

And the only one here that fits with all thew clues is ... RAYMOND HAFFNER. HE IS RED JOHN.

I made a discovery which will clear the air about this popular still from "His Red Right Hand: http://img29.imageshack.us/img29/7037/4sh2.png   While blurry there's resemblance to Jack Plotnick's slim elongated face and hooked nose. It's the type of fast paced action sequence where stunt people are used the majority of the time. After digging around a bit, I can categorically state that the face we get a glimpse of belongs to this stunts actor:  http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0189587/  (scroll down to see his credit from that episode).

P.S. - I love Brett Partridge and wish he had a more regular role than the occasional crime scene cameo.

P.P.S. Has anyone found out who plays the 'The man in the red sweater"? (I've IMDBed for him more than I care to admit)

Not a theory, but a question. Did Heller say it was definitely one of the seven or did he just say "you can trust the list"? That was Red John's list, not necessarily Patrick's list.
