Lol at all the people who thought it was Partridge!!!
Lol at all the people who thought it was Partridge!!!
Brett Partridge is dead. That's a really twisted turn of events. However, Bertram stated something early in the episode, The Desert Rose. He said that "I am many things to many people" and pointed out that he sometimes was calculting and he had a "duplicity".
He is mar...? Is that familiar? He is many?
However, saying that he is many different things and saying that he has duplicity is at least something.
In the end, when Partridge was lying on the floor dying, didn't it sound like he said Kirkland? Or something with a K?
Well, I can't really take that for real proof. But it's something.
My money is on Bertram, Kirkland or Haffner. But it would't suprise me if Heller did another crazy twist.
Cheers.
Holy Shit!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Best comeback!

Partridge is dead! What a shocking scene! The most popular guy is out, quite the episode. The dialog between Bertram and Jane was quite the thing.
Bertram said to Jane sth like: "Jane is closing in on RJ, thats what he thinks". Like Jane said, how did he know about the progress? And he was like uneasy of the situation and trying to comfort himself.
Well guys, I think it is safe to say that Bertram will be the most popular suspect at least till the next episode.
Maybe my theory will persuade you, after all Partridge is dead.

And I am glad that the whole team knows about what is going on.

I think we can safely say it's not Partridge, unless it was another clever trick.
Danny Ruskin!
-Voices fit
- Is mad with Jane because he went away with Angela and was also mad at her because of that
- They are not friends
- Just dont remember if they shook hands
- Has red hair
- He could know PJ s happy memory
- And when Angela was killed by RJ (him) he was angry at PJ or himself because he had to kill his sister because of PJ
-He grew up working in the same carnival as Jane and his father and later became a con man. Maybe he could learn to be good as Jane in mentalism.
- The surname Ruskin has the same meaning of Roy, alias of Red John: "red-haired one"( i read it somewhere)
So there it is! What do you think?
At first i was thinking that ist maybe Patrick who ir RJ but i take it back, i think that RJ is going to kill everybody on the list of 7...
Some people here are a strongly in favor of Gale Betram being RJ.
HOWEVER, in the season 3 finale, why would Gale Betram have planted the seeds of thought in Jane's mind about the rope and directly leading to O Laughlin's and Timothy Carter's death?
Why would he have wanted O Laughlin dead when he was such a good RJ disciple and nearly killed Teresa Lisbon and Hightower?
Reading some of the recent theories got me thinking. In a recent interview, Bruno Heller was talking about the reasons why Red John is accelerating his killings by saying something to the effect of "She is aware that Patrick is closing in on who he is". The article surmises that maybe Heller slipped up and gave a clue by saying "she". If that's the case, what if...
Red John is actually Kristina Frye and she is married to one of the 7 suspects. It would answer a lot of questions that have come up in recent seasons
- HE IS MAR ... he is married, or he (Renfrew's killer) is married to Red John
- Red John didn't kidnap Kristina at the end of Season 2, she left because she is Red John
- In that same episode, when Red John whispers "Roll Tide" and "Kristina sends her love", it's her husband so he would surely have that information from her
- The man seen drinking tea with Rosalind appeared to have a wedding band, which would make sense if he's Kristina's husband
- Kristina has the ability to hypnotize people, so she may have hypnotized PJ (perhaps when he was in the asylum) which is how she knew his happy memory
- She knows that PJ's daughter died in her sleep, maybe she did the murder or she and her husband did the murder
- If she's a psychic and PJ was truly a con artist who went on TV claiming that he was helping the cops catch Red John by giving the appearance that he was smarter than Red John - than she/her husband have a strong motive for the murder
- She was Patrick's first romantic interest since the murder of his wife, how mind-blowing it would be if she was Red John
- She wanted to help the CBI with the case before PJ nixed the idea, and that would allow her to have first hand knowledge of the cases
- She has red hair
- The first episode she appeared in was "Seeing Red"...maybe "Seeing Red John"???
- Tyger, Tyger Poem ... "thy fearful symmetry" could be Adam and Eve, man/woman, husband/wife
The question then becomes ... who is her husband. Heller says that Red John is always there, like Waldo. He also says that he's just a man and we would be disappointed with the reveal. My guess, the Red John is someone we have seen little of or someone who has made repeat appearances but is unimportant enough to PJ, Lisbon, and crew so that they don't know he's married.
My guess is Gale Bertram. Frye disappeared at the end of Season 2, he appeared at the beginning of Season 3, he called Jane "Boy Wonder", and he recited Tyger Tyger.
It would be a bit of a disappoinment, as Heller mentioned. But if he's married to Kristina and they worked as a team (possibly with many disciples) ... that would be a surprise ending that would satisfy many viewers.
