The whole RJ thing is getting boring and out of hand. Just unmask him and get it over with so we can get back to PJ being his normal annoying self please!

What a strange episode last night!?! We did however get some good clues.
First off, this show needs to go back to a week night. Football is killing the start time and my DVR can't keep up!
So what did we get. Well, we get Brett Stiles helping Patrick break Lorelei out of prison. How? We aren't sure? Is he connected to the prison, do Visualize members work there? I dunno. Stiles doesn't seem to think its a good plan but he makes it work no problem. Here is Stiles again in a RJ themed episode and the movie they were watching looked like North by Northwest, which if I remember correctly, is a story about mistaken identity! He also calls him "Mr. Jane" (as opposed to his usual fatherly Partrick) and admits Jane amusses him.
We got LM telling PJ he's already shaken hands with RJ and that they are alike. This is odd because I always thought PJ avoided most hand shakes?! He interuppted Stiles on stage the first time they met, no handshake there?!? Yet, I can't believe that LM knows him and Kirkland have met yet either. We know PJ can usually ask people questions and get the right answers, will he just be going nuts and asking people if they are RJ? We in the audience now will be!
We also have LM's dead sister (strange story) this I'm sure this story will come back later but why would RJ break MO in this killing (no cutting, no rape.) And we have LM dealing with her sister's death in a very Visualize kinda way. Yet she is acting convinced that it isn't RJ not so much in a loyal way but in an almost I really know who did way.
The whole episode is seems to be shifting us back to BS and away from Kirkland who has been creepy the last 2 eposides.
So from it all I take away.
1) RJ is a man. So please no more post about how it might be GVP!
2) PJ knows RJ, met him, touched him. So please no more posts about his Father or an unknown an twin brother.
3) Visualize is connected somehow. Stiles might not even know it but hes too connected to the story.
4) Kirkland knows something we still dont, "its complicated" he tells Lisbon whe she asks why he's even involved. He is either after or protecting (knowling or unknowingly) RJ, Stiles, PJ, or there is something about the RJ victims. After all common bonds between victims is investigating 101 in a police procedural. I just don't believe a Homland security guy has risen up the ladder while being a serial killer.
Till next week! Keep posting, keep watching this great show!
I don't really have a theory on who Red John is because a lot of the facts we pick up from the episodes could just be garbage, the characters could be lying.
Or worse based on the suspects here we have to chose from , how could someone like Jane not figure out who he is, having met him and all(or shook hands). From this I gather the identity of Red John is either going to be really surprising or a complete disappointment.
If it's any of the main cast that person is most likely going to be a pathological liar with their psychotic ways under control, and can obviously fool Jane without difficulty. I've had experience with these types of people and in my unprofessional opinion his best chance to find out who RJ is, is to get him alone, one on one.
I'm back and forth on this one. From everything I've seen the arrows are pointing to Bret Stiles. Lorelei said she was surprised they weren't best friends since they shook hands. I'm assuming (correct me if I'm wrong) that they shook hands. She says they are just alike, manipulative etc... and on the description of the first episode Stiles in it says "Patrick finds a new adversary in a charismatic but manipulative cult
leader while the CBI team investigates the death of the CEO of a media
conglomerate."
Two traits strongly attributed to Jane and being a cult leader takes a level of charisma and manipulation that would be required to establish this power base he has which seems to reach to high levels of law enforcement.
It would also explain why he was hesitant about Jane breaking Lorelei out of prison. One, he might turn her but Stiles might view that as just another challenge in this game between them. Second and more importantly, if Jane was captured and arrested it would put a huge stall or complete stop to Red John's game.
Stiles is the only character I've seen that has shown the intelligence and other various qualities and characteristics required to be Red John, but that is where I become hesitant. At this point it seems a little to obvious and I have a feeling the writers want to shock us with who he is but Bret Stiles wouldn't shock or surprise me at this point.
You all have it very wrong!!! Red John is Patrick Jane's dad (or relative) from his circus years. He has the cunning to pull this off. Also, he knows PJ very well and was disappointed when PJ couldn't carry out tasks that he had told him to do. He knows PJ well enough to come back and taunt him.
I guess that with the new infos of the 5x08 episode we should restart
from the beginning, sign up all people that had shook hands with PJ and
then use all the others details we have to figure out who RJ is, but
cause i can do that by myself i'm asking the help of all the people that
can rewatch a couple of episoides and help me make a new list of suspects
I often wonder how a serial killer have this much power over police forces and know political figures. the answer I came up with is that they don't know they work for RJ. So he have to have a powerful job, like being the head of CBI. I don't think red john is a simple guy working at CBI like Ron. He can't be jane or anyother main character, simply imposible for them to pull of something big as this(how would they have moles in fbi?). I am not sure who red john is but I wish, I helped you eliminate some of the options..
