Whoever Red John is, my theory is that he is someone from Patrick Jane's past in the circus. They may have met before (and Lorelei's words about shaking hands may refer to some distant past), but for some reason Patrick doesn't recognize him (RJ was a child/a teenager or perhaps in disguise?). That would explain how he knows about Patrick's happy memory. Bruno Heller says in his latest interview that this question is going to be answered in the next episode - I'm really looking forward to it.

It's patridge. He is faking that he got killed. Plus u see the way lisbon fell to the ground, she got swooped off her feet. Also recall, all of Red John's victims are dead when found, he wasn't.

Red John is of the seven - now just 6  - suspects.

SO! RJ inst:

-Jane himself, Lisbon , Van Pelt, Ron. ect...
- Brett Partridge already dead, Bruno Hller confirmed, Jack Plotnick confirmed

We get closer to the RJ mystery step by step, episode by episode until episode 6x08 called Red John. The 6x09 title is My Blue Heaven.

My top suspect is Kirkland:

- He hates Jane it seems at the closing scene in 5x18
- He knows Jane spent a half-year in an insane asylum, and probably knows his psychiatrist named Sophie Miller
- Red John's got a friend in the FBI, Kirkland have closed prelationship with FBI Director Alexa Shultz
- He met CBI Director Vrigil Minelli az 2x08
- His limo appears in 2x08, and 5x05 and this very similar to what we see at 4x24, when Lorelei cathes Jane.
- That way he kills Jason Lennon, similar to the way when RJ kills Rebecca in 2x08.
- He calls Jane first time Mr. Jane, after just Patrick, likes RJ

Like "The Tyger" poem by William Blake, this one caught my attention to..

The Wild Flower's Song

As I wandered the forest,
The green leaves among,
I heard a Wild Flower
Singing a song.

'I slept in the earth
In the silent night,
I murmured my fears
And I felt delight.

'In the morning I went
As rosy as morn,
To seek for new joy;
But oh! met with scorn.'

I don't know who's my suspect now, but I'll still bet on Bertram as RJ & Van Pelt as his accomplice because RJ needs someone in Jane's team to be his eyes & ears.
And I believe that the poem The Tyger is not the only hint written by William Blake, perhaps clues can be found in several of his writings.

When Ron appears in the near end of the episode it all flashes at me!!

Imagine you are the director and you want to present the bad guy in a way that no one realizes its him but in the final episode you bring him to peoples minds with flashbacks!!

So first let me point out some thoughts:

1. Why would you have a guy appearing now and then to answer 1 question at random episodes when everyone from the audience feels like this person is not needed to be shown in the series.

2. Patrick is always struggling to find out who goes unnoticed and when - where in the CBI without being seen and then we all try to figure this out but Ron comes in no ones mind because he is not shown in the series often.

3. We all know that RJ has a big knowledge of whats going on in the CBI: Ron has only been to one or two cases with the Teresa team, if I stand correct. If I am mistaken please correct me.

4. In every RJ case we only see Patrick and maybe his team interacting with RJ.

5. Check this out please. Red jOhN - take the capitals = RON, Red John in short RON

My opinion:

In episode 1 season 6 we see RON at the wrong place at the right time. I am not saying he is Red John but he is 99% with 1% always been given to the question of doubt, and I am sure that he went into Teresa's office and checked the computer. When Patrick saw him he was holding a phone. Why would you put an actor in a series that every thing counts to hold a phone at that very moment.

Also, all the team including Patrick are away of the office and they are the only ones that knew about the phones being trapped. But RON called tereza and told her to leave her office and go to that place so he can check her computer like he did with the other member of the team that trapped the phones.

Facts, logical thoughts and my attempt to explain them 1 by 1:

1. How can RON be at the CBI and at the same time we see RJ painting Teresa's face with blood at the house?

- Explanation: They gave us 7 suspects and none of them appear to be on the same scene with Teresa except Brett who is impossible to do all those things because he was down on the floor in front of her when she got ambushed from behind.

RJ has many followers and he possibly put one of them there to attack Teresa but for what reason? The only ones who knew about the phones was the team. But who would be able to to find out faster? The other RJ suspects that have 0 point to come into CBI or RON who works in the CBI?

2. RON has way heavier voice than the one we listen to when RJ speaks to Patrick on phone

- Explanation: We all know that Patrick is the smartest person with the unlimited memory ever shown on television. If RJ was stupid he would call Patrick with his regular voice. But if he did that Patrick would of recognized that voice. How? The guy sat down and remembered who he shaken hands with. It would not be hard for him to recognize a voice.

And in all episodes we see Patrick giving 0 cares for the sound of voice because he knows RJ is smarter than that. And all the suspects apart from Brett have heavy voice or at least heavier than the one we listened to.

I think Brett Partridge is RJ. Using his forensic skills he can fake his own death, then when Lisbon looked away, he grabbed her feet. The door  was opened by an assistant.

In an interview Bruno Heller said it wouldn't be like the story 10 Little Indians, with an RJ suspect dying every week, but in the book of that story, the main killer fakes his own death right at the start, then goes and kills others, so Partridge may be the first to 'die', but like in the book, he faked it.

I've read a lot of theories, and I was one of the ones who tought it was Brett Partridge...
People still thinks it's him but I don't think it's Partridge.
In the episode 1 season 6 the real Red John was hiding in the bathroom.Nobody noticed that the bathroom's door was closed and when Lisbon turns it was opened?
That's why she looks scared and suspicious when stares at it...it also seems she is grabbed from behind and she is giving his back at the window, she mantains the same position since when she get up, this means Partidge body is in front of her...how could him get up and grab her from behind withouth being noticed?
Sure, it's television and everything is possible but now I think that the theory that RJ is Partridge is poor..

Sorry for my english.
