LATEST THEORIES

I have a bunch of theories.  Time will tell if I'm right.

1. The big clue that Heller was talking about is the fact that RJ is left-handed.

2.  Very few people know RJ's real name, including his minions.  Todd Johnson and Brett Partridge knew RJ by his nickname:  "Tiger, Tiger."  If you think about it, I always found it weird that the last phone call Craig O'Laughlin made was to Timothy Carter, NOT RJ.  You would think that a valuable FBI mole would be in direct contact with RJ; rather, O'Laughlin was corresponding with RJ via Carter and probably never knew his real name.

3. Kirkland is trying to kill RJ for himself, probably because RJ killed someone close to him.

4. Bertram and McCallister are best friends who fought in Vietnam together.  The latter is RJ, and the former helps him out by feeding him valuable info.

Some thoughts, mostly about S06E01.
1) If you re-watch the first four minutes of S05E22, you'll see a very interesting scene including Jane meeting Partridge. Could be a false conclusion, but Jane's reaction to Partridge points that he suspects Brett (as RJ or as an assistant). So, I think, Jane believes his list is true.
2) In S06E01, when Jane calls Lisbon, she says "Not now, Jane" (sitting in the office and watching the map with seven markers). Why? What was she busy with? Waiting for something? Just a moment later she gladly answers her office phone.
3) A very interesting picture on GPS mobile tracker. Kirkland's phone is in Los Angeles, S1 is in San Francisco (Stiles or Smith), Haffner and S2 are somewhere near Sacramento, but not in the city, the same for McAllister (but not in Napa, strangely), and only Bertram and Partridge are in Sacramento. Just let's remember this for further observations.
4) Don't think it's important, but wasn't Lisbon right-handed? In S06E01 she holds the gun with her left hand.
5) What was wrong with bathroom? Lisbon and Partridge were not alone in the house.
6) Ron's strange appearance means that we should consider some personalities not included in the list as RJ or his assistants.
7) We clearly see RJ talking to PJ and at the same time holding the "knife" in the left and cleaning it by the right. Believing that a human being, even RJ, couldn't have three hands, either RJ uses some kind of earphone, or we are dealing with two persons.
8) I can't believe we'll be informed about RJ's identity in S06E08. I'm not a fan of kind of "he is many" theories, but unfortunately we are directed in that way. So probably only one important name would be revealed in S06E08.

Maybe it's a recording.. but the voice of RJ at the phone, at the end of the first episode of the last season, is the same voice of Partridge.

Gale Bertram is Red John if you look  the behavior of Gale episode 23-24 saison 3 and episode 1 saison 4 you will understand why :)

While watching the rerun of last season's finale, it suddenly occured to me that Red John is Rigsby. There was really nothing specific that pointed to Rigsby, except it makes complete sense.

He's a member of the CBI, and has grown close to Jane.
He's the absolute last person anyone would suspect, because he's so naive, innocent, and nice.
Physically, he fits the description of Red John - though he's probably on the younger side of the spectrum.

Like I said, there is absolutely nothing that points overtly to Rigsby but it makes so much sense for my instincts.

(I'm only posting this here because my husband said I needed to - just in case I'm right.)

Red John was hiding in that room behind Lisbon when she found Partridge.

He's to fat to fit inside there.

Simple.

Why RJ killed Lorelei? Just because she gave the hanshake information?
I don't think so.

If not, why didn't he killed Rosalind after she gave a full description?

She is really blind or is she hypnotised?

I really hope for answers and not something like LOST ending...
