After we got the Red John 7
suspect list I decided to do a cross-reference with some clues that I find
more reliable:

-> Red John would have 18 to 30 years (young man) in 1988 (Red Barn)

->
is "just under 6 feet tall" (Rosalind description, don't know if really true)

With
the help of IMDb, I found the height and age of the actors.

The 7 suspects:

Bret
Stiles: 70 now, 45
in 1988
, height = 5'8 1/2''

Gale
Bertram: 51 now, 26 in
1988, height = 6'3''

Reede
Smith: 37 now, 12
in 1988, height = 6'3''

Tom McAlliester: 58 now, 33
in 1988
, height = 6'

Raymond Haffner: 46 now, 21 in 1988 (confirmed in Red Barn by him), height = 6'1''

Bob Kirkland: 44 now, 19 in 1988, height = 5'9''

Brett Partrigde: 45 now, 20 in 1988, height = 5'11''

And to
compare: Patrick Jane: 44
now, 19 in 1988 (so Brett is older than him people).

now = 2013 don't care about the month xD

So Smith is
too young and if you consider height too tall.
McAlliester and Stiles are
too old.

If we
accept this we got 4 suspects: Bertram, Haffner, Kirkland and Partrigde.

Bertram was my favorite suspect until Red Barn but I
really think is too tall and if you consider the hair clue... is a bit of a long shoot. But then,
this is a TV show... And the end of the season 3 still

unsettles
me with him at the mall and Carter also there...
Haffner is since Red Barn my top suspect. He is a bit tall
but still could be him. Apart from that he is perfect to be Red John,
but physically and psychologically. And to me he seems like Jane in this
scene (
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QDVM5GiOMIo) and
others, what is kind of weird and like Lorelei says - they are alike.
Kirkland is
one of the two perfect guys according my list. As Haffner, is the right guy
when we think physically and psychologically. But because of his actions
seems to be more a man that, like Jane, is trying to find Red John. There are
many theories already about that here ;)
Partrigde is
the second perfect man. But sometimes doesn't really match in a physically
and psychologically way. To me is a man that likes his job to much. If he is
connected to Red John somehow, is still a mystery to me...

Entering with
stuff that happened season 6:

Partrigde -
died :( I kind started to enjoy his presence in the show.
So Kirkland,
Haffner and Bertram remaining :)

I am
still waiting for Kirkland show time but I guess we will see him because of the
fake list he got from Jane and he is going to be ruled out around that.

Both
Haffner and Bertram have cryptic moments this season.

Some other thoughts:
Carmen Lee
(Black-Winged
Red Bird) - Probably
reading too much but: Carmen it's almost carmine, a shade of red. So, I think
that maybe the nurse is a friend of Red John and, by asking for Carmen to every room in the hospital with a new patient,
was a way of entering the room to know if Lisbon was there. Why is this
important? How Ray knew she was in that hospital? There are other ways but
still, is a possibility. Also Miss
Carmen = Miss Red? Weird since Ray and possibly Red John like Lisbon.
Pigeons (both 6x01 and 6x02) - Sophie claimed that Red
John has a fear and we have two episodes in a row focusing on birds.
Might be the reason Red John didn't kill Lisbon. Or, it was just to daunt Jane
with the smiley face.

Cheers
;)

The one thing im curious about is RJs voice... is he using a scrambler?
About the identity of RJ - the list was made up so the show could go on. At the end of the season we'll find out that RJ is someone from  out of the picture.

I think Raymond Haffner is Red John. Here are a few things why i think so :
He is in supreme fysical condition. In s06e01 you can see Haffner lifting weights at the end which confirms that. This matches Rosalynds dwscription of Red John, and the description we got from dr. Millers voice memo. He is also in the position to get a good view of the progress on the Red John case, and temper with evidence. He also has short, style hair. (Rosalynds description). And the fact that he is a member of visualize makes it more and more likely he is in fact Red John.

Sorry for my bad english :)

In my opinion, the single most important event of season six this far is Partridge saying Tyger, Tyger. The fact that he chose to say those two words instead of a vast number of seemingly more helpful word combinations is important. It tells us that either
1. He is Red John (and thus still alive)
2. He works for Red John and has been given a message to relay
3. He is such a fan of Red John that he does not want to reveal his identity
4. He simply does not have a better way to describe Red John's identity.

Out of all of these 2 and 3 seem the least likely. Red John does have many followers, but they are usually strategically recruited. I am not sure what value Brett Partridge gives Red John. Also, even if Brett Partridge is a super fan of Red John (we know he knows a lot about him, and gets excited to see his killings) I think he would still be upset enough to tell Lisbon his name. This also assumes that Partridge was able to find out on his own that Red John had recited the Tyger, Tyger poem to Jane, another stretch of the imagination.

While number 1 is certainly possible, it does not leave much to debate, except when Partridge will re-enter the show. The fourth possibility is the most intriguing as it confirms the "He is Mar" clue from a previous season. In both of these cases it would appear the Red John's identity was not easily expressible. If we assume that Red John did not write the "He is mar" message, and for the sake of this theory assume that Brett Partridge is not Red John, then we just have to find a connection between the two messages.

First lets go back and look at some popular theories for "He is Mar"
1. He is many
2. He is Married
3. An address: 15 mar
4. He is Mad

Now someone find a connection between this and the Tyger Tyger poem, because I am stumped.

I am beginning to think it is Cho masterminding the whole thing. He never seem to go along with Jane's antics or game and is well educated and trained in all type of physical combat and methodology.

Haffner is clearly RJ, and Brett Stiles is his father trying to protect is crazy son.
