I think this has been mentioned before but it deserves to be again:
Why does Lorelei pause (for quite long) before mentioning Raymond Haffner when reading the names on the list? She doesn't do that before any of the other names. Is it because she is surprised that Red John would put his own name on the list?

Just a theory, but what if Brett Partridge has a twin brother? (fearful symmetry). Possibly.
The man "Partridge" is dead, but now Brett Partridge is just Red John now...to take himself out of the suspect list
to now pursue the murders as Red John without being in or around the CBI anymore?
The thing that always intrigues me, ever since 5:13, is what happened between 1988 and 1998? The Elliston farm murders (likely committed by RJ) happened in 1988, yet Red John didn't officially start for another decade. So what was he doing in that 10 year period, and what happened to him?
If he went 10 years between his first few murders, and then became a notorious serial killer, it suggests one of 2 things:
1) Someone else committed the 1988 murders, and the smiley was just a graffiti incident that happened to take place on the same farm. RJ did the graffiti, but not the murders, or was inspired by the graffiti
2) Something seriously bad happened to RJ in that 10 year window, something that changed him from someone who killed 2 people probably out of deep personal loathing and self preservation (they weren't very pleasant bosses, drugging their workers and working them to near death), to a man who killed for personal pleasure and fame.
Your average serial killer will kill, then keep killing until they're caught, no 10 year breaks.
Hopefully all will be explained in 6 weeks, because it's been bugging me for a while, and i'm yet to find a logical reason for the change in behaviour from 88 to 98-present day
If anyone has answers, comments would be appreciated.
I still don't believe this theory fully myself but look at this.
-I hear people talking about the list of 7 people is fake. That red John is not on the list.
I see people accusing walter Mashburn as Red John, when rigsby searched at Sophie Miller's house there was a name named Washburn which looks very similar to the name Mashburn.
-Also Walter Mashburn liked Lisbon, and that could be why he didn't kill her.
-Mashburn visited Lisbon in a red sweater.
-Also on the recorder of Sophie Miller you hear Sophie talking about some phobia he has. Look at this video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pL336yZCB90. In this video Jane is cold reading Washburn and he says he had some kind of phobia. Coincidence?

in fact at the min.28:59 we see someone feeding pigeons and patrick staring at them
red john is patrick jane. voices of this two are similiar and matches.patrick jane is organizing all seven suspects and he is leader of them. yes he killed his wife and his daughter. we will see.
