Digression!

Just a thought:  I very much appreciate all the people who take the time to post their ideas and share my interest in this show.  But please!  For all who are not native English speakers, please do NOT apologize for any flaws in your English!

I speak only English and am very much in debt to those to bother to learn the language and grapple with its many quirks.  I tutor English to US students and -- having borrowed from so many other languages -- it is horribly inconsistent.  Alas, many people for whom English is their first language have problems with it.

Thank you, thank you for sharing your ideas.  The ideas are what's important!

I mean seriously, this is gonna be tough.
Red John=The 7. All of them, Copreating.
Unless it's someone's related to Jane that we do not know about.
Imo it's either bunch of people from the list.
either the list is fake, and it's gonna be one of the agents from the CBI we will not expect it anyway.

I think Ray Haffner could be RJ. He wouldn't harm Lisbon because he really likes her, and he calls her Teresa, just like RJ did in his phonecall to PJ the day BP was murdered. Who else calls Lisbon Teresa? I'm planning on reviewing the whole series again for this, unless someone knows this already? (He is an excellent whisteler and is of the right age and bodytype etc etc)
Still have some untied knots about Ron's role, and the reason of Wayne and Graces "disappearence" from the series....

Guys, surely Red John is Brett Patridge!
I think we don't have to try more because we already know it...
Yeah, I know, you have read too many theories. I am not here to explain with an essay but..
-We never saw the body of Brett Patridge
-Brett Patridge may has a brother
-Red John could easily fool our characters "killing" his self!

Anyway, we will find out at 6.08 "Red John"...
This episode will be AWSOME!

Does anyone else think that Gale Bertrum might be eliminated as a suspect after last week's episode?  When Reede Smith told him it was his job to know about Jane's knowledge of Red John, he was pretty stern.  Would someone really talk to Red John like that?  I get the feeling that people don't speak to Red John in that manner.

Just a hunch

Could RJ's phobia be of the water?  Perhaps he never learned how to swim.

There has been repeated water symbolism, boats, and MAR means The Sea, among other things.

Also, something makes me think of how Lorelei Martins wanted to go to the ocean -- because maybe it was a safe place where RJ wouldn't go.  RJ seems to spend his time in remote country places, farms, old and abandoned houses and barns, fields and parks.
