LATEST THEORIES

I'm not accusing anyone of being red john. I'm just going to eliminate suspects that simply can't be him.

First the list most likely totally bogus, but still let's study the suspects anyway:

Haffner, Bertram and McAllister have all been outsmarted by Patrick, so I doubt any of them can be RJ.

Plus Bertram and O'laughlin each had been given a different room number in Strawberries and Cream. Wouldn't RJ have suspected something and not sent his killer? Same goes for Osvaldo Ardiles, Brenda Shettrick, Hightower and LaRoche.

Kirkland. Think about it, when Lorelei told Patrick that he and RJ shook hands he hadn't even met Kirkland. Also when Kirkland killed Jason Lennon, Lennon didn't recognize him. He would have if he was RJ and even if he didn't recognize him I just don't see a reason to kill him.

Partridge is dead.

Smith would've been 12 in 1988 so I don't see how he could've killed and tortured two people and Stiles was 45 and too old to have been the 'kid' seen painting the face.

Also I doubt anyone from the list is related to one another especially not the two Brets. And if someone simply has red hair it does not incriminate him.

Red John is not Jane and its not a group of people that would be impossible I'm not even going to go into this.

It can't be Cho, Rigsby, Van Pelt, or Lisbon because in Crimson Hat they were all together during Patrick's conversation with RJ and surrounded by the FBI it would've been impossible for them to communicate with Patrick without anyone noticing. Same goes for Darcy.

I'm starting to feel that Cbi Ron is a red herring. Too much attention is being drawn to him.
I think the way the show works is the murderer is most often the person no one would suspect because they were never treated as a suspect. They were always just there. And the show has been shoving him in our faces lately. There's no concrete proof as why it can't be him. It would certainly be interesting.

Pretty sure partridge (not the character but the human inside) is still alive...why? read on..

Well...Heller said there is a clue in the last sequence of s06e01. We saw a very different smiley in this episode that was drawn on Lisbon's face. People are thinking that it has open eyes because RJ did not kill Lisbon. But did anyone think of this: Where is the smiley for killing Partridge?
Yes...the smiley on the face of Lisbon is not for her but for Partridge. And it is different (had open eyes) not because RJ did not kill Lisbon but because he did not kill partridge. And I guess this is the big clue Heller is talking about...

For Guys who still do not believe that Partridge is alive:

Think yourself as RJ. You had two jobs to do:
1. Kill partridge
2. Kill Lisbon/ teach her a lesson for bugging cellphones

These two jobs are independent of each other..Why you will want them to be done simultaneously??
And there seems to be only one reason for me: Whoever RJ is, he wanted to show Lisbon that he killed Partridge...

And also there are many theories besides this:
1. Partridge's throat was not slit
2. He was the woman feeding pidgeons in s06e02
3. Voice matches to RJ
etc.

My theory just tells why Partridge (not character but human) is still alive...Still I don't know who RJ may be...

So what do you think guys? Please comment if anything is wrong...

BH tells us a clue at the end of 6.01 will make sense in 6.04

We have the photo of Kirkland with Jane in a chair with arms bound, from the promo for Ep.6.04

Note: Partridge bound with plastic packing ties in 6.01; Jane bound with plastic packing ties in 6.04

I this a major clue? That either BK is RJ or was somehow involved in the Partridge murder?

I hate it when people accuse Teresa or Jane of being Red John -- I'm not about to do that here. But there was something peculiar about Lisbon in the final episode of season 5 that caught my attention and kept it.

Question: Why does Lisbon have a cast on her arm in Red John's Rules? Oddly, she does not have it in Desert Rose, which picks up immediately where the previous episode, mentioned above, left off.

Theory: Robin Tunney broke her arm. The director said, "Let's go with it, but when Patrick asks you what happened say 'I just slipped and fell' in an awkward high-piched voice and do that shifty-eye-thing Lisbon does, as if she's trying to hide something, so that the viewers will question it."

Any better ideas?

Hy, first time posting, and not a theory, i have millions of theories
but none conclusive so I will keep them to myself for the time being.

Back
to the facts I want to lay down:

-William
Blake,  is clearly the
only rock solid clue that we have in almost all
seasons, and the only one given to us by Red John Himself willingly

The Poem:

The
tiger, tiger poem, from which we can obtain , after we read it of course, the
first clue into the mind of red john, the poem is an artistic way of presenting
William blakes set of believes about the world, the central theme is Evil,( the tiger) the poem consist of 6 stanzas, and all the
lines except one , are questions to the tiger , who created the tiger?  where it was created ? how it was formed ? who make
the lamb also made the tiger? The only line that’s not a question is the one
that says Tiger Tiger Burning Bright in the forest of the night.

The
first clue, good and evil, antagonists created by the same hand, contraries
that don’t exclude each other but rather need each other to progress, to go further,
to grow.

Once
we are presented with the poem, we must take a look at William Blake, as the poem is only a mere pointer
to the clue that is the writer.

-William Blakes and his
believes:

(I
will not write about his life, and work but mostly reference bit and pieces in
particular if you want a quick idea of the man you can wiki him)

Across
his writing and art, Blake lay down his thoughts about, man, religion, and his
spiritual believes as well as marriage and sex (he was one of the first writers
part of the first free love movement back in the 19th century)

-The
body is an extension of the soul, a part of it.

-Obedience
to a moral code imposed from the outside of man is against the spirit of life

-I
must Create a System, or be enslaved by another Man's

-He is
the only god, so am I, and so are you (the marriage of heaven and hell)

-Rejects
received ideas, systems, authorities and traditions.

-The
Great Red Dragon (From The revelations Book of john AKA John of atmos, John the
revelator)

John
means  = God is Gracious/Benevolent

Red
means= Blood/Fire

RED
JOHN= The Gracious God of Blood and Fire. = Satan/Beelzebub in revelations =The Great Red Dragon

The
Great Red Dragon is a series of paintings created but Blake between 1805 and
1810, 4 of them to be exact that show the red dragon waiting to consume the
child of the lady clothed with and in sun, show the dragon itself and present
him as the beast (the devil).

-The Marriage of heaven and
hell:

Probably
the most relevant piece to understand Blake set of believes and there for clues
into RED JOHN mind.

In The
Marriage of Heaven and hell Blake explains that, without Contraries is no
progression. Attraction and Repulsion, Reason and Energy, Love and Hate are
necessary to Human existence. From these contraries spring what the religious
call Good & Evil. Good is the passive that obeys Reason. Evil is the active springing from Energy.

Good
being Heaven/Reason/Love/Attraction. Evil being  Hell/Energy/Hate/Repulsion.

Blake's
theory of contraries was not a belief in opposites but rather a belief that
each person reflects the contrary nature of God, and that progression in life is impossible without
contraries. Moreover he
explores the contrary nature of reason and of energy, believing that two types
of people existed: the energetic creators and the  rational
organizers , or, as he calls them in The Marriage of Heaven
and Hell, the  devils" and  angels. Both are necessary with out contraries  is no progression.

Innocence
and experience (theme that he explores in his book Songs of Innocence and experience, as two
states of the human soul)

With
out one the other cannot be and vice versa, they need each other to have
meaning within themselves.

I Hope
this helps develop or better theories, I think we need to match the whole
picture taking the hints for what they are but not building theories around
them.

Can
wait for next episode, thanks for reading and I apologize if I misspelled any
word, English is not my native language.
